SS,

I have recently had the opportunity to view Andy's page.  WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL dog! :)  I would have to agree with you.

SS and Ladywolf:

Awww thanks guys, U R awesome...yes we've been busy...just imagine where we'd be if I got him and started before he was five yrs. old, lol.  Still hoping to throw a couple new ones on there...gotta take advantage of a once in a lifetime dog while you still can.

Newbie...this dog is no longer competing and not in Europe anymore but Andy's uncle (Dam's littermate) is Norbo BEN-JU
6X WUSV/FCI SCHH3,IPO3,ZVV2,BORDER PATROL 5KVS/55

Regards,

Melanie

Melanie, Norbo is a wonderful dog and has lot of titles but..........he was *never* a border patrol dog. He was used in breedings by Policia as well as z Ps but he never was owned by them or worked the border.

Thanks for the info...I didn't put  it there...I just copied and pasted the line of titles from his pedigree on this database.  Sorry it was unintentional...perhaps someone should fix it.

by Hukka on 26 October 2007 - 18:10

Melanie sorry, didn't mean to come out like I was pointing the finger at you:-) I meant it in general. There is lot of bad info on these dogs out there, something happends to them on the flight over the Atlantic and they earn extra titles in flight and become border patrol super stud's:-) Now, not to take anything away from Norbo or his titles. He is a good dog, I saw him the first time when he was just a young dog and he did come a long way.

No problem Hukka, no offense taken...IMO you are the Czech dog dictionary, lol...I believe you over anything on this database.

BTW has there been any dog that has been to the WUSV more than Norbo (6x's)?

GSDfan,

I tried to PM you back, but it wouldn't go through for some reason.  Can you please email me on the matter we discussed.

According to guiness books of worldrecords, this dog was the most titled, but isn´t alive today, he had an awfully lots of competitons behind him in nordic trials like messengerdogs, tracking, and obedience. Six yeras at a row he participated in the nordic championship for messengerdogs and took podium-places each time, 8 years in a row he participated in the nordic championship for obediencedog too,

This other dog is according to the owner most titled in the world, IPO3, Swedish workingchampion in the swedsih protectionprogramm, highest class in tracking and search and some things more,

Another dog that is active today and highly titled is this one, he has participated in the Swedish championship for protectiondogs this year, and is also working in the highest class in search and tracking, also has a servicedogtitle for the civilian military defence, and also passed the Swedish charactertest.

You know what Melanie, I don't think Norbo was in 6 WUSV's!! Someone correct me if I am wrong on this. If you count the FCI Championships to it, you might be able to make 6 out of it. Norbo was sold to States in June 2004, he went to Czech either in 2000 or 2001. He was born in Oct.1995, so if he was 5 or 6 years old when sold to Czech (and I know he didn't go to WUSV while in Czech), he couldn't have competed in that many WUSV's!!

Ok, another dog that *HAS* competed in 6 WUSV's is Emir Chabet!!! He is over 100xIPO3, he achieved that back in 2003. Emir is probably the most trialed dog in Slovakia and Czech. Emir also competed in several FCI Championships.
