Actually, back then he was probably called black and silver....he isnt black and red , thats for sure....
If they used several dogs , which all the film makers used breeders with more than one so its right...they usually had two trained and standing by....one looks more saddled than the first pic posted,,

They use hair dye on actresses and actors,,,maybe they dyed his hair.....or touched him up a bit...he does look different in the last two pics....
Bob Barker on Tv wore make up and with out it looks totally different , so dogs probably wear make up too.....lol

Oh great-now I have to take dishes back. He thought he was silver&black, I thought he was tan/black- i didnt factor in they used different dogs-I think i should win anyway lol !!!!!

I don't think the dog on the bed is the same as the dog in the lower right hand picture.
