Hi Southtexan,

I am in the UK. I have an 8 year old male with the same problem but also a perforated ear drum.  He also has EPI.  I found that on the Nutro Lamb  & Rice he was even more hungry than normal.  He is on Arden Grange Lamb & Rice ( not sure if you can get this in the States) which is fine for his stomach but his ear is not good.  Have looked at the ingredients of both (we own a pet shop) and they are very similar.  Having read your post am now wondering if we should give Nutro another try.  He is allergic to chicken.  Are you feeding the Nutro Lamb?

            Jeannette.

Have you had your dogs thyroid checked recently?  Sometimes dogs with yeasty ears have thyroid issues.

I am feeding the "Senior" version so I can let her have extra food. She also has very high food drive. Good luck
