People have been stacking their own supps for years. There are literally thousands of products out there regarding this topic. Who here hasn't seen Ol Bob? .....Bob is a very happy guy because he takes Enzyte! Check out the ingredients of Smiling Bob's product. You will see Tribulus.
L-Arginine has been used by Bodybuilders for years to get an extra good pump from their workouts and to help Vascularity. Arginine is a vasodilator, just like the drugs Viagra, Cialis, etc. You will see L-Arginine on most all products of this nature.
L-Carnitine has been used on Horses, Dogs and Athletes for decades as well. It helps make certain an athlete doesn't bind up and cramp. Bodybuilders also find it beneficial in Fat loss. Only recently has it been studied to help older males keep an erection.
The product you posted seems to be nothing more than a weak form of aminos. If thats your liking this would be a better bet.http://www.bulknutrition.com/?products_id=6001,As you know L-Carnitine comes from the essential amino acids, L-lysine and L-methionine.
If one leaves Tribulus out of their stack, they arfe just short changing themselves.

That Enzyte product. is damned expensive.
I tried this on my little bitch. She hadnt been in season for over a year. I went to E Bay and bid a penny on this product and won. When it arrived I mixed daily with yogurt, and in 3 weeks of supplementing my bitch came in.
Abhay,
(1) How much tribulus did you give your female?
(2) Did she stay on it during estrus and gestation?
(3) Do you keep males on the stuff for life?
(4) Will it make a postmenopausal human female become premenopausal??

Louise, The Enzyte is far too expensive for my tastes, but have you seen how happy Bob is on the commercials? Have you seen the one where he is climbing out of the swimming pool?
1) I gave her a little under 1/8 tsp per day
2) I used it for an experiment only. I had no intention of breeding her, but wanted to see if the Trib would bring her in. I have a friend who has used it on his greyhounds, and he said he had to give it throughout the estrus. After he bred his bitch, he stopped the dosing. He had used it on another bitch and stopped dosing when the bitch came in. He said when he stopped the trib, the bitch came right out.
3) The only time I would give it to a male, is to begin a cycle a few weeks before I would intend on using him as a stud. I believe it should be cycled. As I stated above I like a stack of Trib, Zinc, Arginine, Saw Palmetto and a little DHEA just for a kicker.
4) lol You sure have me there. I have no idea about that. When my wife becomes postmenopausal, we wont be trying to turn back the hands on that one.

Exactly how do you propose that it be "cycled"? I own two stud dogs (6.5 years and the other will be 9 in January). I do not want them to experience their grandsire's infertility. The only bitch I have is spayed and 11.5.
Predicting the use of the boys at stud may be difficult. It's either "feast or famine". They may go for many months without a breeding. When people call to use them, I get very little advance notice for bitches that are already in heat. So far, every bitch bred to them has conceived.
How much of each ingredient of your cocktail do you propose and what should the duration of each cycle be?

Hmm....Perhaps I should use it on myself?

I cannot say much about using tribulus on dogs as I have never tried that but I have used it on and off over the past few years on myself and it clearly does work in raising testosterone levels in male humans and it seems to be especially noticable in us over 50 years of age. obviously over 50 testosterone levels are lower than younger males so the boast can be quite nice especially if using the higher quality Bulgaria trbulus that is manufactered into supplements in germany and doing a lot of working out and or other activites were a high testosterone level comes in handy
On the other hand when a younger male already has a normal to high testosterone level because of his age then I would think there would be a limited affect.
my conclusion is if it can make some of us males better than it should also have some good effects on a male dog if the testoterone level happens to be too low.
anyway, that is just my guess but i but Abhay knows as I am sure he has tried it on man and dog a like.

Many believe to stay on year around. I have found that the best results come when the supps are cycled. Now the zinc is the exception. For an older male I believe in administering 50mg per day, every day.
If you have dogs @Stud, I can see how it would be all but impossible to know when to cycle. Maybe begin a 12 wk cycle on Valentines day Feb. 14, and then begin another 12 wk cycle on Aug. 15. That way your dogs would be roughly, on 12 wks and then off 12 wks. I would dose 1000mg(1g) of Trib per day. (Tribulus does boost test as it contains a drug that forces the release of LH that stimulate the testes to make more test.)
Along with the Tribulus, 50mg DHEA, 50mg Zinc, 1350 mg Saw Palmetto, Arginine 1000mg(1g). I can get all the ingredients at the town nearest me at the Mall, or as you might know it as Wal-Mart.
Now Louise, regarding #4, You might just be the Groundbreaker! You will be a true Pioneer in Qualitative Study of Tribulus Therapy in Post Menopausal Women. Someday there may be scientific journals written about you, and about the discussions on the Database.

One supplement (all sorts of herbs) states that the tribulus fraction orignates in China!
Where can one purchase tribulus of Bulgarian origin? This is what I gave my old dog. Maybe I should do a Google search.
I would not be giving it to my males to increase libido--no problem with that (not even in the old boy--now deceased--even when after he became sterile).
I would be giving it to my present males only to preserve continued spermatogenesis.
I would dose 1000mg(1g) of Trib per day. If one is giving powdered Tribulus (not in capsules with measured ingredients), is 1g roughly equivalent to 1/4 teaspoon?
