I just love those University of PA vet school graduates like Smith. I won't use a vet without that VMD degree.

Did he cut down the canines before he capped them?

yes.. he took them way down.. and as someone already mentioned.. said that they are still growing.. so will grow a bit more.. but will not be a prob..he also said procedure is 95% successful.. and accoriding to a very knowledgeable person on here as well as him.. can continue to do schut work.. without harm..

Thanks for the information. That makes a lot more sense than trying to extract them. Good luck with the training.

I'm going to take the puppy to a vet in my area tomorrow that will do a root canel type of procedure.  Did  your dogs teeth that were done turn out ok?  What do they look like, rounded?  Thanks for all the help and suport from you all.

they were shortend to about the size of the incisors... was told they will grow a bit .. becasue he is still a puppy.. look fine... white caps on them i think.. .. am not sure a root canal was done.. because i thought if that was done.. tooth is dead and will not grow.. mine still has his teeth just cut down.. they are still alive
