Kimbo v. Karthago has 4 sons that I can count, and one of them being the WUSV World Champion: Ängsbackens Rosso and Pierre Wahlström with points of:
100-97-97 = 294.
Sirk v. Belchen has several offspring.
Ufo v. Guys Hof has 5 or 6 that I saw as well.
There are more options out there besides just Tom, Asko, Nick and Orry... all of these dogs produced super, but they were not without fault either... that is the major problem with breeders now days, they only go for thwe flavor of the month stud dog (or flavor of the year), because they can advertise the qualifications/accomplishments of the father and sell puppies.
Start breeding for more than just a pedigree, and then the USA will also put dogs on the podium at the world championships.
I would like to congratulate our team this year- as several of them have american bred dogs, and a few are even HOT - I think this should be the norm... Almost every successful country represented at the WUSV is competing with dogs from their own breeding programs. So, that is nice to see America doing this as well this year (with a few acceptions of course).
Best luck to all competitors starting tomorrow!!!

Yes and their is another dog cant remember what team that has a dog the same sire as Zidane....do you know what happen to Issa I saw her work at a trial one time and she was awsome to watch a incredible dog ..some of the entries are confusing to me some have one dog period and others have five or so with after three being reserve...does it go on the average of the top three dogs the total points for team champsionship??? or do they average the entries if they have more...I stay confused .... still only find one Ufo son the dog is Biltz Vom Burg Kurzwallen ...I am so glad it is here in the US for poor folks like me to go....Yahoo

I don't know how they work team management either.

We have to remember that the sire is only half of the equation...no matter who the sire is there has to be a good female to go along with him...I feel that although here in the United States...we now have some very nice males to use for breedings...that the lack of good females is the one thing that so many dog people forget...In my opinion I can find a good male/stud anywhere at any time...all I have to do is pay a stud fee...Some people here in the US will stud their male out to anyone that has the money...there are no scruples about it...But I have always felt that a good female is the foundation to any good kennel or stud...If I travel overseas and try to buy a good male...all I have to do is have enough money...whereas even if you have a lot of money the top kennels wouldn't even consider selling their good females until they've gotten what they want out of them...This is fact and from experience...

Yeah and they are sure quick to sell all the males to the USA in a heartbeat....the females stay in Europe You got that right....the stud is talked about first always little mention of the bitch......most of the time....

More emphasis should be put on the females because as Bob said they are harder to come by and as important or more important in my opinion. Dogs that have produced well in this year and most recent years including Ufo van guys Hof who had many sons in 2006 WUSV, also his son Zidane Leefdaalhof had just as many in WUSV last year which gives some validation of genetics behind them. Zidane Sevens has been paired with several nice females and has 3 nice ones there. Troll vh Milinda almost always is on the list and Asko von der Lutter always has a nice strong group of sons and daughters in many different countries. But sometimes you will see consistent females that have been paired with these males such as Dixi Santiages who produced Quincy and Quax Waldwinkel among many other multi time WUSV competitors. Also Queen Revolutionskuppel was bred to several different males and produced exceptionally well including the notable "H" vom dunklen Zwinger litter. Let's not forget Quendy Prielberg (Yoschy) daughter who was paired with several different males and produced many top competitors. So it's super these males are proving excellent producers with strong character females.

BOB You are correct the females are the key and try and get one out of Europe when they know she is a good producer. This is one reason I am keeping nice ones from this kennel to title now instead of buying what Europe does not want so often.
