Renofan, and all, thank you for the pics and great ideas-we have three dogs and have had a horrible time with just barkdust in our backyard. Your idea would be great for our backyard in the RAINY great NW! I know my GSD can be trained to go wherever, but it's the other two rescues that will be the challenge. Oh, and I'll be sure to check the can of stain beforehand if needed...

1 tea spoon of cider vinegar in the food will help greatly to neutralise the acidity in the urine. It's cheap, healthy and it works. I have never had a male that burned my lawn only a bitch and coincidently she did have a high bacterial level in her vagina when this was happening, perhaps coincidence or perhaps something to look into.
