4pack:
You be surprised how many kennels are out thier, the weld wire pannel kennels from Preiferts, Magnum are better than chain link. IMO Majority of the feed stores in the Sac area are distributors for either company.
http://www.behlencountry.com/dogs/magnum/panels/
www.powderriver.com is where I got mine.
If I had the choice I would get Galvanized over the powder coating. The powder coating does come off from knicks and dings the dogs urine will break down the powder coating. You can go to home depot and get a clear coat spray and it will do the trick. Have had my kennel for over 7 years and I love them. Bought three more pannels and made another kennel. Would recommend if what ever kennel manufactor you choose if they have the option for either the quick connection or butterfly clamps ..go withe the quick connections, easier to assemble and take down with the quick connections (5mins).
Option plus kennels ask GARD if he remember Javier Martinez his ABs when thru a option plus kennel.
On a side note how was the PSA regionals, did you get any pics of Luc's club trialing?
Regards
Mario

LOL that's what I am affraid of Yellow. Right now we have chain link and it's fine. The dogs are still young. I'm just waiting for the female pup to go into heat and Baden is going to flip his cookie, the kennel and whatever else gets in his way.

Thank you Mario for the Powder River link. They have a dealer in Lincoln. At least their pdf file showed how easy the thing was to put together and that it can be added onto at anytime. See my dilemma is I only have so much room right now but when I move, I want the option to add more panels for a longer run.

Ya my SchH3 girl has indentations in the back of her canines from being in a "chain link" kennel for only ONE WEEK! With the preifert they can't get thier little teeth in between the wires to try and pull open the gate!!!! Much better.

My Priefert Premeir kennels are now 10 years old and are still sturdy and beautiful. I would buy them all over again......even at today's inflated prices. They are worth every penny!

Mason chain link is too strong, too well reinforced, and too small-spaced for dogs to damage at all. NO damage in 2 years of having Mason kennels in my boarding kennel. It will last a few lifetimes I'm sure. There has been NO maintenance needed other than cleaning for the kennels. NONE. Not even for the dog doors. It is excellent. But they also make non-chainlink kennels that are strong and good looking.
