here is something that has worked for me when I don't have help
Granted it will not be perfect.
I have a hook on the fence that I attach the leash to (smallest leash I can find and that blends with back round)
Bring lots of toys or things to throw.
and let them walk around and throw a toy just out side the area . It takes practice but you can get some really nice pictures. and less headaches

For example. The top two here I took myself and the bottom one was done with help. What a difference eh?
The very bottom photo is what my hubby does best. Spoil them! Here they are waiting patiently for whipped cream!

EKvonernhardt---wow, those are some pretty pics, so cute! i have thought about doing that but so many people bash others cause they see a dog tied in a pic and i guess they think the dog is always tied up, i have some cute pics of boss taking a bath but i havent uploaded them on my comp because of that, he is way to big for the tub so in order to give him a bath i have to use two chains, going in two different directions, with one chain. he has to much movement and will twist himself around my legs, run and jerk at the end of the chain, i think two chains, tho it may look bad, is actually better for him, less chance of him hurting himself or me. good news is , i think hes getting use to his bath, maybe even starting to like it, last time he hardly fought me at all, or maybe he realized it doesnt do him any good anyway to fight. but im gonna try your suggestion, ill just make sure i write--dog only tied up for picture..lol

sure, we all know that you are torturing that poor dog in the bath tub!

Bless his poor abused soul! Look at that pathetic insecure look on his face! And so thin. There should be a law.
Julie-no way in HELL you can pass that boy off as anything but spoiled rotten. I wouldn't worry about what anyone would say about that. It would take one search for you posts to know that dog ain't abused.

ALLABOUTTHEDAWGS---thanks..lol...your post made me feel all warm and gushy inside..lol...and thanks for your vote, but the pic your talking about, (not one on this page right?) its kinda old, at least two months, thats a big differenct in they way a pup looks within that time, i wanted to try to keep it up-to date...so the changes in him could be seen..one difference i've noticed is in those old pics he was really flat-footed, but you can see in these pics (the top one) he is growing out of that, also i've noticed in some pics that he's not so easty-westy as he use to be and starting more often to sit on his butt straight rather than on the side/hip...now when will he start to lift his leg to pee?...the goofy goober doesnt even squat to pee he just does it while hes walking...so he walks right in it...lol, its pretty funny cause he kinda lowers his back-end as he walks to do it, and its then he does a perfect stack! but i cant take a pic of that cause he's peeing..lol..ohh, whats a girl to do?....
rezkat---we must have been posting at the same time cause i did'nt see the other pics you put up (i only saw the pup,) you r one lucky girl..those are some beautiful dogs! lucky dogs too...whip cream...lol...never heard of that one..i luv it when they sit like that

i'm trying to remember when my boy started lifting his leg. maybe around a year or so. but he'll still occasionally pee on one of his front legs.
