Nice job.
Anybody who trials under Lance Collins is getting the hardest and most fair points. Every point you got is well deserved!!!
I know,I trialed under him. I got 88 points and I was proud like a little girl. The points that were taken from my dog were (too much drive, not thinking, needs to do a better work without molesting the helper) something like that..

I think that you lost points because the dog was not faighting enough. He needs more fight in his protection work I would guess .. Maybe I am wrong??

Yes, Barret is definitely very prey oriented in his work, our current helper is not experienced enough to work dogs in defense and obviously as his handler defense work is one place I will not go, when I work him.

some of the places we lost points were:

not commited and intense in the blind
the dog needs to put more effort into hindering the helpers escape
his grip needs to be calmer throughout
he needs to be more determined in the guarding

and of course dont forget my major oops...

I was way to far behind in the back transport and way down field on his last blind send

Nothing wrong with prey dog.
You are absolutelly right: if you are not comfortable to put more fight drive into your dog, do not do it.
(whatever your reason)

I would love to look at the OB. I love to look at the routines.

Schutz girl. BTW When I do blind search I RUN down the field as I am little short legged, slow and my male is way too fast..
