Marci---i did not say or mean i saw it on his "actual" pedigree...lol..then yea-- my dog would be old...i meant i was flipping back through the pedigree---i just kept looking through all my dogs grandparents--greatgrandparents--greatgreatgrandparents, just going on ...etc.etc..and i just meant that i noticed this dog in most of them ....and in my second post i wrote "i don't know if i worded this right, and i guess i didn't, I guess sometimes it's just as hard to understand the right way to ask a question as it is to understand the answer....

Actually, urmangsd/courtney, i believe understood what i was trying to ask because she answered my question...all wanted to know was who this dog was...BTW...thank you courtney for the info

URMANGSD - Please note breed is just over 100 years of age NOT 200. Believe 1895 is when Captain Max started his endeavors..

Oops! I usually catch my typos when I make them! that was embarrasing, lol. Yes, I know the breed is just over *100* (not 200 like I accidentally put in). Sorry about that and thanks VKFGSD for catching that one.
