I assume your in the UK Bananas???

Looking at your comments - if this is a pup from Gringo mauritshoek, he is not working lines, but show lines.

Customs are different in different countries.  If by working, you are looking for a sch dog?  and these pups are behind in growth and not showing good working potential behavior - outgoing, carrying thrown objects, etc - then a request for the deposit to be returned should be honored I think.

No bananas I put a first deposit for first pick female pup once. As time grew nearer to pick I was given the choice between a stock coat or a long coat! I said "SAY WHAT?" and it was the same scene, club members got first pick even though I had first deposit...pups weren't even born when I put down my $$$.There were several females too, can't remember exact number. So it can go both ways alot depends on the breeder.

Hi Thomas,  how did you arrive at Gringo, I've made no comment on him these pups are working lines I will not say who's that's not fair. I did my homework I know the sire seen the dam she is actively working, it's just that comment  won't play with you aloof 6 puppies why would a breeder say that ? "Hang on I think it's come to me" thinking back when I went to see mum I Mentioned the fact that I didn't like a dog that held his heart in his sleeve and that I liked a dog that was a bit aloof.  Pups should not be that way that comes later, i am going to check them out anyway, thanks all i will let you know how I get on.
