Shelly,
You go girl! You'll have a devoted friend once Max gets back in shape. At this point, I'm not surprised that Max is clingy. After all he's been through, he's probably delighted to be with someone that cares for him and he doesn't want to lose you. Once he's healthy it'll do him good to be socialized to other people and such, but let him get healed up first.

Hi there, just read your rescue of Max, and his update, he is so lucky he found you! Sometimes its like God picks them out for us! I hope he s starting to put some weight on, be great if you can post some pics of him when hes looking bit better, I d find it hard to look at pics of him right now cos will sit hear cryin otherwise! What vermin that meth head must be, hope she gets her comeuppence some day, glad the breeder seems fine, you probably have a reall well bred boy there, but either way he ll be your guardian and love you all his life. Shelly, Max is lucky to have found such a gentle soul to keep him safe and do the research you have done, Good for you Job Very well done !! I appreciate the work and effort you are putting forth, as do alot of people.
Hopefully that was not too "mushy" for SOME people around here.
