The Premier is the Biggest UKC show of the year in the state of MIchigan. It's like the AKC Cluster that they have here in MIchigan that is their biggest show also. People from all over the USA come to it. It's a 4 days show. Thursday, Friday, Sat. and Sun. Thursday they do special things that only some are welcome to participate in. Friday they do shows I believe, and Sat. and Sun. The show is held at our local fair grounds because it's so big. People camp, etc, for the 4 days. They only have 1 show a day for each breed, instead of 2 because there are soooo many dogs that compete in each breed. There will be 22 GSD's! Last year there were only 14 I believe. Chaos will be 1 of 7 champions on Saturday, and 1 of 7 on Sunday. Mostly going to compete for the fun of it as every one else has much more experience than we do. I've told Chaos a few times that I love him no matter what! He's my boy and always will be. He's a great dog, but we are both still learning and learning together : -}. Any way, that's The Premier.

Oh. thanks for the explanation. I have absolutely ZERO experience in AKC competition. It takes all of my time just to train the three phases for SchH. I don't know how anyone does both, let alone has time for any of the other fun stuff, dock-diving and the like.

SW, Who cares what everyone else thinks, your having fun,spending time with your dog,and trying very hard, good for you!! Some people wouldn't have the guts to try !

SW, I dont show yet, but Im thinking of starting, im going to a show at the end of the month to check everything out(little scarey)I have a 2yr old male,(vom romerland lines)who is nice to look at but not a show personality,he does o.b. some agilty,hes my boy, but i have a 10month old female(mittelwest lines)who im thinking about showing, shes very pretty and has that personality, I posted a picture of them earlier today,they were resting at dog social, its under cute pictures, she on the right.
