Dogs can contract parasites at any time!!

Stool samples should be periodically checked anyway......

NOTHING on the market can prevent 100%.....also, be glad that you saw it!

You can feel safe giving him the additional wormer that he now needs.

A dog can have a negative fecal float and still have parasites, could just be that they weren't shedding eggs at that time.  There is no product on the market that prevents a dog from getting parasites, monthy treatments like Heart Guard, Interceptor, Revolution, etc basically are just deworming your pet every month.

Echo, Revolution and the new Advantage Multi are effective against some internal parasites.
