darylehret,
I understand what you are saying, but still I do not agree with changing the color of a dog. It must suck as a breeder to hear someone say, "that dog doesnt look like the picture." It is just when pictures are taken, you should figure out when and where the best time is to take it, then dont just take a few, take alot, and go through them. I do not understand why people would want to do a fake background? If the yard looks nice, and has flowers, put the dog there.

Art or having fun with pictures are one thing but when you change the color of the dog that you are selling That iscrossing the lines. Hell it is hard enough just to get what the people are describing half the time, let alone the drives! Now we have to worry if the dog is dark sable or cream sable? This just goes back to buyer beware ask for videos or see the dog in person.
My dogs hang with Kangroos! (NOT)

Dal": I think your pic is outstanding never takes away from you dog....those kind of pics are good.....as long as dogs color is correct I had pics of 5 of mine taken at AKC show in Houston many years ago and at Petsmart years ago, and they used fake backgrounds.....I at that time was not on a schutzhund field and you dont get pic there anyway, unless ur a winner......most people are not good takers of pics so if the opport comes to take a pic with a fake background,I dont see any fault in it......as long as the pic is not altered on the color of dog......
