Thank you iluvmy, I am VERY proud, she's a good kid. Ada is a rescue mutt, when my daughter got her they said she was a beagle/cocker mix but I just don't see it. She weighs about 30-35 lbs and is on the slim side. I actually think she's part Greyhound or Whippet, she's a sweetie tho whatever she is. Loves Jocelyn to death, they sleep, eat, drink together, best buddies! This pic was actually taken last summer but it's my favorite of the two of them. Ada is getting up there too (almost 9) and I have no idea how Joc will take it when that moment arrives. We just have to enjoy every minute we have with her now.

Wow what a good looking dog I like him and the car too.....before I got into the germans, after my husband died , I bought a 1982 black corvette with the removable top and oh did I have a ball .....I wish I wouldnt havae sold it and my convertivle that my husband had given me 10 mos before he died...I was so grief stricken and it reminded me of him too much,,that I sold it...the covette I just couldnt keep fixed as they need a man to keep every nut and bolt tight and the brakes were a problem since I lived in Galveston,,,,water and salt water...and a nasty bill to keep then working......because of how they are built.....
I also had a boy that I took back from a couple getting a divorce named CodyDax he was a Korbelbach boy ...with Pepsii as his mom , out of Tiekerhook......and he did not inherit their high drive I was shocked at how laid back he was.....
He was overweight when I got him back but I fixed that .Hes a protection companion for a Dr. in Tyler and goes to work with dad in his office everyday.....bad neighborhood....

Good, we can now add GSD's in Mustangs ! (or sports cars)
Handsome boy Dax drove a red one, and my boy Thor drives a yellow one!
My hubby loooooves his boy and his toy !
He's very proud of his boy for setting a club record at training last night !
Farthest (is this even a word?) distance on the bungi to get the sleeve.....his first time too !
It brought tears to his eyes (and mine) as we talked about the training on the way home...
Yellowrose - sounds like you may be ready for another sports car...mustangs are reasonably less expensive to take care of than most sports cars....varrrrroooooommmmmm......

Not many from the UK willing to get into this - only seen Ann, but have I poss missed some-one too.
I`m female - 60 yrs young - been involved with GSD`s since my first in 1973, bought from a client of mine whilst I was attending her as her midwife !!! (Good thing to talk about instead of labour pains) Divorced yonks ago - he didnt like dogs, so choices, choices.
I have 3 kids, one in with me on the dogs, one very much into her horses, but loves the dogs in a pet way, has no wish to exhibit (poss clever move) and a son that could live without animals forever !! However, his 2 children are slowly winning by having the odd little pet, and so far its got to a kitten (big deal).
After having my son born at home in 1968 , decided that secretary bird wasnt really me, so trained to be a midwife, and have been there until 12 months ago, when I decided that it was time to stop and play with my animals the whole day. Now I dont know how I had time to go to work !!
Perks of the job as a midwife? - delivered my own 4 beautiful grand-kids. It was soooooo special, and so are they. One girl is a little lady and says "Granny delivered me" - the other little girl is a bit of a Tom-boy and says "Granny pulled me out" - the boys? They dont care where they came from or by whom, as long as there`s something in the sweetie drawer.
Sold a puppy to a really great bloke 8 years ago, and guess what? - Yep, he`s still here, had to think about it as he is a few years younger than me, but hey, I only thought for a second or two cos he has a lovely bum (he`ll kill me for this) !! He appears not to think of it at all. - the age diference, not his bum
So - what do I think about being 60 - ?
Well I have a few more dogs now that I dont go out to work, I`ve taken the plunge this year and exhibited on the continent for the first ever time (thanks to a friend holding our hand) I do dog training, help with behaviour, microchip, run my cattery - which I love - am secretary to a premier Midland GSD Club and as far as the knitting is concerned, I just keep losing the needles. I like the bus pass, but I dont need it, - I am now planning our wedding! (got engaged in August) I like the B & Q store card - but dont go on Wednesdays, I like the pension bit - the fuel allowance isnt bad, I wish I could run a bit faster as I have so much to do - but most of all, I like thinking - hmmm 60 wasnt any different to the last few years, so anyone sliding in that direction - ENJOY.,
