Hello All,

Al's brother Jeff has been handling most everything on the net that concerns Hex.  He has done a great job of it and only asks that we all with hold our emotions until ALL the necropsy report is in.  It takes a while for toxoligy and time of death to be completed.  I viewed the body and it was not "severly decomposed".  - but I am only a "lay-person" who helped load the body of Hex for transport to the U of IL.  

Thank you Jeff for holding down the fort during times of stress. Good Job Bud.

As most of you know, Al and Jeff are busy at the Nationals this week.

For those of you that have seen the "Official Police Report" & "Necropsy" that was posted on differnect sights - please note that the necropsy report is interim, that means that it is not COMPLETE. Al & Family are still waiting on the COMPLETE report to come back from the U of Il.

Please try to refrain from making any judgements, I have yet to see/hear the Govedniks or friends of theirs name anyone, blame anyone or accuse anyone in regards to the disappearance of Hex.   

So if I understand correctly someone other then the family went and got a copy of the report and is distrubuting it?

Rumors and finger pointing have been flying fast and furious over this.  Just read through this thread and the various comments about "the people who did this".  I don't think anyone in this thread has named names, but I know there have been names named elsewhere.  It's being talked about all over the WWW, and who knows where else.

I haven't seen the report, don't know who is distributing it, but I would expect it's being done by the people who felt fingers were being pointed their way in an attempt to defend themselves, or by their supporters. 

It's a sad situation all the way around.

JEB, I'm not making any judgements, obviously (I don't know all the facts) I'm just pointing out that the autopsy exam report stated the dog had "thousands of maggots," in all orifices, and "the animal is in a state of marked decomposition," and skin was green in some areas. This is not in accordance with what you just said.

Due to the media involvement, social networking, the fundraising, and soforth, I see people, including strangers, have emotional and financial involvement in this, and they do deserve an explaination and truth, whenever that comes.

AND I think the PI that has been  hired will give out the explanations and truth when it comes.

I have been following this and I have not seen any fingers pointed at anyone.  I saw one person on one board taking  exception and appeared to take it personally that the car was described as a white or light colored van, stating that that was was what he drove and that he felt accused.  

I have not seen fingers pointed at anyone and I have not read of anyone being accused even indirectly.

I have seen the family continually request that people do not speculate and wait for all the reports and information to come in.

If any one but the family distributed copies of the file at the Nationals I find that behavior despicable and I really do question their motivation.   

I do not know the owners of Hex.  I have never talked to them,  corresponded with them or have had anything to do with them.  

If anyone but the owner of Hex released this information their actions were vile.

This is the second dog of Al's that has been hit and killed on the road in front of his house, lets just hope that he has learned from it and puts up a fence to protect his dogs! Once again the dog is the one that has to pay.

OMG people..... 

The 33 page report is as follows, Henry County Police Report, E-mail from a club member and a 4 page incomplete necropsy. The weather was hot from my understanding and the rate of decomp would have excelerated. 

I have NEVER heard the Govedniks accuse anyone for this, I have NEVER seen a finger pointed at anyone, I have NEVER heard anything other than I DON'T KNOW WHO DID THIS TO HEX. I have seen and read that the Govedniks have said that they want everyone to stay calm. I have seen and heard the Govedniks ask that people refrain from making any judgements (some people just can not help them selves I guess). It has been asked that any information be sent to the Private Investagator.

The e-mail from the club member was not blacked out (mistake on the police's part if you ask me) so not only did Henry county see it, but soomeone decided to post it everywhere and on anything. SHAME ON THAT PERSON for doing so !!!!  

The people that were there the day that Hex was found saw him with their own eyes, loaded him up and took him to the U of Il. Why is that not good enough for some of you? Why did the club member feel compelled to e mail the police? Did he/she have a guilty conscience? If you read the e mail, is looks as if they are trying to set Al up for either dumping his own dog, the collar or incrimenating material at their facility.
