OK, so since I had some time in the office before I picked someone up at the airport, here's some stats so far:

Married women: 24!!

Single Women: 14, including our youngest GSDLova at 13 (maybe counts, maybe under 18 should have its own category :))

Engaged Women: 1

Divorced Women: 2

Married Men:  9

Single Men:  4, including Bradley at 16

You decide your groupings (Divorced under single, minors under below 18, etc.)

Score: women 39, Gents 13.

Ouch! :)

Let's not forget the 43 year old club  - even 43 year old women seem to have a stronger representation here than single men :)

I make no representation on accuracy, just a bit of Kentucky windage.

(Glbtrottr, feeling slightly under represented here as a single male)....

Lorna, What a nice thing to say. I really appreciate your Kindness!

OK, here I go...

Single Male, 37, 5'9/5'10, 185lbs, brown hair and eyes...born in Texas, raised in Spain, Italy, Mexico and...Glendale, California :) Learned English at 15, joined the Marine Corps shortly thereafter.  Flew with Civil Air Patrol as a teenager, then went on to tell our guys where to drop Close Air Support, naval gunfire and artillery rounds in the Marine Corps, transferring back and forth between ANGLICO and FORCE, for those of you military types :) Attended OCS in Quantico in 1987, flew in the Corps, got out, and now I only fly a Turbo Mooney or a Cessna 172 when people want to learn to fly.

I thougth I'd be a vet growing up, working stints in the LA Zoo taking care of (not Thunderbird Eagles) but California Condors, Large Mammals, and occasionally, the aviary, during and after High School. Hadn't owned a dog for years.

I work for a very large technology company out of Boston, Mass, to which I commute.  I've been there 10 years...hobbies include: Saltwater Reef Aquariums, a couple of Abyssinian Kittens (reds), Scuba Diving (service leftover, along with Parachuting), Motorcycles, Music, catching up with friends, and in the years past and hoping again, running and triathlons...

A close friend had her own personal 5 time felony stalker, so after 8 GSD's in her past I suggested she get a trained one.  Borina from Eurosport was the end result of that, and that dog is loved amply and has had a chance to chase aforementioned felon away.  Borina is 5, a 5X IPO3 dog, and very, very cool dog.

I was encouraged to co-invest in a breeding dog.  Another thread and long story, I own Perry Lasmon.  The fun part and challenge has been learning how to handle both these dogs and more importantly training us to be able to complete a SchH3 again.  Wallace Payne has been fabulous, as was Nate Harves from SportwaffenK9.  Perry is now 68 lbs, and what's been fun and hard has been watching her personality completely change as she gained weight.  I'd like to title a puppy, perhaps one of Borina's or Perry's...we'll see. :)

We often travel outside of Chicago with the dogs, so chances are if you're in the midwest we might see you sometime...

46 year old never married woman from the beautiful state of Oregon (once you get past the mud).

Though I had horses and cats growing up Dante is my first dog, it was a long wait.

I work for one of the very large banks in the credit card divsion (No, I can't stop them from mailing you an application!) and have been with that company through a number of buy outs for 8 years. However, tomorrow is my  birthday and since it's lottery drawing day I think I'm about to retire , I mean what better birthday gift would there be?

It's been nice to read some about so many of you here,

Barb
