Okay...I have made my offer and I stand by it. I will contact cobet12000@yahoo.com directly to work out shipping and refund of the pup. I will say it again, the pup can come here and I will do everything in my power to help it as much as I can.
I will say, there was a time a long time ago that Malinda should have put a pup down and she didn't she found it a pet home as far as I know. I very rarely will say that a dog needs to be put down because in most cases - every dog should have a home. I can not say anything about this conversation between the seller and the buyer because I was not there to hear it. However, the bottom line to this is we appear to have a resolution and that is important for the dog and the buyer and the seller.
What I do not understand is why it took so long to get this resolution and why so much garbage had to be posted about the breeder. Sometimes it is just a matter of stepping back and taking a look at a situation before we jump all over someone.
I am sure everyone thanks everyone for their assistance in this issue.

If it is okay, I will keep everyone posted on the resolution to this situation.

Ashamed? what? Sandra, you really need to get a grip. I have taken responsibility for this dog from day one!

Before this all starts again...stop...
I offered to do this because it is best for the dog, the breeder and the client. I really do believe that the breeder has gone above and beyond in this situation - I think the tensions are so extreme on both the seller and the buyer that the buyer would never give the dog back to the breeder.
There is nothing for anyone else to be upset about - we will get this worked out - so lets stop the back and forth.

This was a listing of the facts, and my experiences. The goal here was not bashing, but information. The truth is what it is. My goal was to make people aware of this breeder and what I experienced along with my puppy. I also wanted information. I found out about the pedigree containing elements for HD. This is what a message board is for, to learn and provide information. Thanks to all the folks who provided a look into the pedigree of my dog, and other useful information. This is much appreciated.

Yes, this board is to educate people and that is usually what happens...I do not know why everyone jumped in on this situation. Having said that, I will stick with Ben having 0/2 hips which really is not bad and grim having 0/0 hips which is excellent. Fortunately, or unfortunately, what I said before is true and many people would agree...You can breed two perfect dogs and end up with a really bad litter or you can breed 2 so - so dogs and end up with a great litter. We can not control genetics - I wish we could. If we could then everyone would have a perfect German shepherd and there would be perfect people in the world, it is just not like that. Sometimes like with giving birth to a child we don't see problems until later on and we do what ever we can to fix the problem.
I do not dispute that you are upset and I understand the position of the breeder too. I am just trying to help to spare a lot more pain for everyone. I will take very good care of your dog and I will get it medical treatment and keep you updated.
I understand these are your feelings about the breeder and that is what you were trying to express however, the manner in which it was expressed did a lot of harm to that breeder. I am sure she has bred many good litters (I don't know that much about her breedings) but, she would not be here for as long as she has if she did not produce some good dogs.
My mother always taught me to try and find the best quality in a person and focus on that quality - it is too stressful to focus on all the bad qualities.
I have e-mailed you the ball is in your court, I will do what ever I can to assist you and the breeder but, I will not continue to do this if you all are going to continue this back and forth stuff.

I can not allow this to happen. If you are willing to have someone else take over this pup, why not the breeders? All this talk about breeders taking responsibilities and such, and you have one right here! But you'll send him to someone else?
Shipping the pup in a crate for a few hours from San Jose to DFW will be less stressful than being in a vehicle for 3 days in transit.
Ship him COD to me and when I get the AWB# and confirmation he is on the plane, I will IMMEDIATELY refund your money in full, just like I have offered.
I have seen the photos and video you sent and there is no reason to PTS this pup. I never said it would be killed.

Von Erzengel, I have sent you an e-mail and you have not responded. I am willing to assist you anyway that I can. I will say that it is probably easier for the dog to be on a flight than in a car for 3 days. However, I am willing to work with you either way.

Wildforwolves... you can not know how much it means to me to get this dog to somewhere he can be cared for and I need to see this dog. But we have to take responsibility for this pup. We have never shirked that responsibility.
There is no reason for this buyer to not return the dog to us and get a full refund. Absolutely none. We of all people would be most concerned about anything going on with this pup and get some answers from vets or maybe A&M.
I have never tried to get out of this and am not going to now..
Sandra, putting this pup on a plane for a few hours would be less stressful than a several day drive. Ship Delta Pets First into DFW and we'll go get him. Once I get an AWB# I'll refund your money immediately via refund on your original payment.
No one said he is going to be PTS. But you mentioned you were going to have to.
