Cassandra Marie

by Cassandra Marie on 09 March 2011 - 13:03

No - I don't have any videos.  Could try to get some. Gorilla was named by a Michigan State Trooper, who  purchased 2 of Gorilla's sisters.   Gorilla is built like his father - BIG -hence the name.  Below is a picture of Gorilla's, Khizer and Honor's sire.

He is my SAR K9  partner, Morghana's That Others May Liv aka Richter.  He is an Orthos great grandson on maternal side.  On the paternal side he is a Murphy grandson.  I will be submitting Richter and the others pedigrees hopefully this week.

Here is one of the pups, the rest should be in the side bar. I am wiped out from Nationals, so sorry not so exciting. The last thing I was really wanting to do was play with pups.

Lazy Jeff forgets he can do this.

Looking good! How old are yours now? Mine are now 8 weeks old. Hanging on the legs, chasing the rug, biting and drawing blood. Little monsters I am telling ya!

by Jeff Oehlsen on 22 March 2011 - 19:03

10 weeks now. I am still in the bloody ankle stage as well. The worst is there were ten, so you get a couple off of you, and they get replaced. Now they get a face slapping if they bite over my boot.  They find that quite amusing, but after about 5 times, they will stop biting me at least.

Elkoorr's pup (sire of her current litter) was one of 9. I can sympathize, Jeff. You have to psych yourself up to even go into their yard, and you can't do so w/out proper heavy clothing or you will be a bloody mess between needle teeth and razor nails. It's futile to get the first 4 off of you because they will only be replaced by the other 5, and the more you let on that it bothers you, the harder they dig in and the more they escalate and the more sheer glee they get out of annihilating your appendages. People think you're exaggerating until they experience it firsthand. It is NOT all that amusing, really. I was quite pregnant at the time which made sneaking in and out quickly not so easy...especially the part where I tried to get out the door w/out opening it wide enough to let the monsters out.

Looks like the 3 boys defenitely come after daddy. The other week they shredded my nursing pants before I could get them off. Worst thing is they will jump to get ya. Hubby has gotten two bites on his arm and elbow while setting down another pup. They are chasing their dam through the yard now. Its kinda funny until you realize they are not just after the dried up milk bar, but actual jumping after the neck. I have to try to get video of this. I am glad I only had 6!

Jeff, I decided on a girl. She is the smallest one, but feisty and lovely at the same time. She was first in everything. Smart little cookie. Learns by watching. She gets often run over by the other guys but bounces right back up and goes after them. She is crazy with the rugg, and goes nuts when she sees me playing with it with another pup. Yeah, and she was the one that climbed out the litterbox, peed and pooped, and climbed back in. We were wondering who left us those gifts on the floor until I caught her one day...LOL

That is Jin Jin. It was Jimmy Vanhove's favorite, and little Jimmy doesn't work for a girl. They have not been worked with a rag or tug, so it was interesting trying to get her off my legs the first time.

Jeff, hope they turn out to be all you have dreamed they would be.

I am hoping that I get some foundation bitches out of this. This is the beginning, and I am liking them so far. My goal is not this litter, but 10 litters from now, and then hopefully to be able to maintain that kind of dog every litter.

Thanks for the encouragement.
