she may have been involved since the 60'sthat wasn't my point, but it says her hip program has been in place since like 62, and I do call bullshit. Sure isn't very easy to find the info for all those litters and all those siblings and all those parent's and siblings parent's etc. You'd think someone with a program could supply those stats, but alas, they don't. Hmmmmm I wonder why?

I also agree with you, breed them, sell them, stop calling them "Old Style GSD".

stupid... stupid people. I talked to the child and he said he held the small dog while it tried to bite the big dog and his hands were in a way.. nobody really saw what happened and I got as much as I could from the boy (6 years old). If the owners decide to put a dog down there is no way out. I tried to convince them to place the animal but they felt like this dog should not be saved because of the incident.

If they look like Old Style German Shepherds to her, that is her call. You buy what you want and leave others alone to buy what they want. Geez.... give it a rest.

First she says :
"Do you remember a specific "German Shepherd" you used to know as a child (or if you are under 40) one that your family or friends told you about? He was the dog with that super, almost human intelligence; that big family protector that was so very gentle with little children, yet would give his life for his master without question......."
She says that about the old style GSDs she remembers from her childhood. Note the past tense.
Here is another quote.
For the past 35 years these dogs have undergone a very intense "re-creation" process started by Shiloh Shepherds™ Kennels, in New York.
Well, that dog is still here today, and he is called a Shiloh Shepherd™.
Well in plain words she has a image of a GSD from childhood and she recreated her image and calls it a Shiloh shepherd. SO WHAT?!
Well that is a quote from her website and you can read about it here:http://www.shilohshepherds.info/intro.htm
I'd add to that that her recreation is called Shiloh Shepherd and not German shepherd. No were I have seen calling her dogs German shepherds. What is a problem here? Where is the lie here?

you know what, scerew this.. people can buy a cow with the head of a donkey and call it a quarter horse.. This is rediculous. As far as I am concerned she fabricates to attract naive people.. and if they want to be atracted and buy her dogs.. good for them I always say, people get what they deserve and so shall be.
If somebody tells me that shilo is an old style GSD I will tell them it is a lie and malamute crossed into it is already far away from a gsd... and that is my opinion.. i am entitled to it just like others to their donkey headed cows...

GSDPACK and they were not called Shiloh Shepherds EITHER(!!). And by the way GSD is exactly that,... cross between different breeds same a Ss. Again nowhere is she calling Ss by the name of GSD.
Why are you upset over someone creating new breed called Shiloh Shepherds based on a her immage of an old style GSD. I do not get it.
Are we fighting here over semantics or over who is going to have last word?
