ok, here we go:

Female, 42, live in Massachusetts (have all of my life). We are now in the process of moving to the great state of Maine.  I have been happily married for 15 years, have 2 dogs (1 GSD showline, 1 GSD adoptee). We have no children, so I get to spoil my dogs even more (they don't complain!). I currently train my male in obedience and agility, and boy is he fun to work with.

I have a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology, and have been a vet tech for 20 years, though I currently work for my husband running his HVAC business. This works out great since I work from home and get to have my dogs with me all day.

I am easy going with a great sense of humor (takes alot to offend me), and enjoy alot of different things. These range from boating, snowmobiling, skiing, and ATV'ing, to drinking beer and tequila (preferably together), hanging out with friends( with the beer and tequila) , or playing darts and pool. I am a die hard Patriots fan (not so much Red Sox), and love Sunday afternoons watching the game ( i swear I live for football season). Those that know me well know NOT to call me when my boys are playing.....

Thanks to all who make the PDB as much fun as it is. I don't post often, but log on daily to see what's going on. I have learned alot of useful info here, and enjoy the bantering that goes on sometimes.....

Go Patriots!!! (oh, and the Red Sox too...)

I feel like I just filled out a personal ad......

Hello, never posted anything before. Read the threads and get hooked, tears roll down my face as they can be so funny, and also sad at times.

My name is Ann and I live in England with husband number 2, 2 kids aged 13 and 11. 13 yr old was bitten at 5 by a shepherd and wouldn't go near them or any breed, we brought a kitten to help get over the fear but he wouldn't go in the same room as he said it would hurt him, to his credit he asked for a dog last year and now loves Jasper to bits! We live in Robin Hood country (Nottingham) follow the Reds (Forest) and own a one yr old shepherd called Jasper (Silkenwood Santos) He is a pet but won both best puppy and best in show at a local show so we are very proud of him. (His pic doesn't do justice, need to do a better one)

Also have an 8 yr old cat Thomas, who won't have anything to do with the dog, 2 axolotls and goldfish.

Aged 46 and work in a school as admin support to teachers.

Learning lots from your comments with this being our first dog, so thanks for that to you all!!!

Ann

Princess

hi all , love to see all about the people that I read each day, Im 51,  5'2, 105lbs, a widow for over 12 yrs. I have 2 grown boys in the navy, one an officer , and one just days out of booth camp, they are both submariners. I raise yorkies for 10yrs and got tired of small dogs, I had a shepherd as a child and a cop for a dad, so decided to get one again , my sons were both happy as they wanted their mom to be watched over when they were gone. She is, out side of my grandson - is the best thing, she keeps me from getting old as she is 2 and a handful. We live in Virginia Beach, Va . Im retired and looking to work on service training, but will have to find the right temperment male. RatPackKing if you breed those two contact me as those are the nicest looking dogs i have seen.
