I know Mystere is not the person you're saying she is, but my question is, if she is or isn't, why would you WANT to put that personal information out there?  That's pretty nasty.

Whether or not von Stephanitz eventually had a falling out with the Nazis has no bearing on the fact that he was exactly the kind of racist that allowed them to rise to power in the first place so no, I am absilutely not tarring the wrong man with any dirty brush.  Again, it is possible to appreciate something someone has done without liking who they are as a person.

At risk that I will upset some people who like me here, I'll say this.
Tina created a new breed. I admire her for that. The breed is known all over the world for what it is. It is accepted as such and is listed in many breed books. It is called Shiloh Shepherd and it is not a German Shepherd.
If Tina believes that they reflect what the "Old style GSD" were is her opinion and not a lie. I have different opinion on "old style GSD" and so do you. That does not make us or her liars.
 There were different eras of GSDs for more then 100 years now. Geographically, culturally and type wise. What part of this era are you or Tina is referring to? And even within same era we see different qualities which we as breeders are trying to produce. Should breeders of Czech GSD be called liars because they do not breed West GSD or US GSD? And what about breeders of "Chodsky Pes"?

 I personally  would be very careful to call someone a liar on international forum like this one, just because they have different opinion.  I had with Tina rocky times myself, but I will always respect her for creation of this wonderful bred development of LMX HD program  and her kind heart.

you're right, there's a difference between opinions and lies, some of her stuff is opinion, some is pretty much a lie.  I can dislike them for what they are.

why compare teh Chodsky? or czech lines or WG or whatever?  The Chodsky is an old type of dog, i dont see them pimping them as what a GSD is supposed to be and making claims they're a better dog because they have proof that GSD's are wolves, or that they are more intelligent or any of that.  They aren't claiming they have excellent hip as opposed to the GSD who's known to have hip problems even though the rate of screened dogs shows about the same rate even though there's about 19,000 more GSD's screened than Shilo's.  I wonder why shilo's that have bred 20 litters only have like 5 progeny or NONE registered with OFA.  Some hip program.

A lot of the most widely used studs have ZERO info on the parent's of themselves and their offspring hip ratings.  She claims to have been doing this since '62?  I call bullshit.

as averybody else you are entitled to your opinion...
If somebody claims something and it is somebodie's murky memory of something they kinda sort of remember and built on that... great, go for it. Just do not call it what it is not. If I have a honda I dont go around, take a motor from VW and put a Porshca  body on it with honda parts.. I do not call it honda anymore I call it .. a car that works for me.. the only thing that it has to do with honda is the original car.. nothing less nothing more.

West, East, Czech... all (hopefully stayed with gsd) the combinations, preference of temperaments maybe kinda turned other ways) but overall nobody added Hyena for a stronger bite!

My point being, don't call those dogs the old style shepherds because they are NOT GSDs anymore. she can call tem Shilohs, that is OK with me, but she should not decieve people because of some murky memories of a child.

I said that before.. I would probably have a little more respect for her as a founder of a new breed if she kinda stop making things up!

I met only one Shilo, it had to be put down because the owners screwed up.  He was a nice dog and a shame but there was nothing anybody could do.


Nobody will dislike you for your opinion, and maybe you think I should be careful to call people liars.. unfortunately that is how I feel exactly about this woman because of her statements.

Zdog Chodsky pes is younger breed then Ss and was started with the similar impulse as Ss.
As far as OFA goes many breeders and private registries do not use OFA since just about all the GSD owners will not send the x rays with bad hips to OFA thus statistical data of OFA are useless.
And yes Tina is involved with dog since 60ties and you can call BS on that all day long, but you are wrong .

The point is still the same.  There is a much larger pool screened and can easily find siblings, parent's grandparents, etc for one breed, where as searching for info on the TOP STUDS listed by you for shilo's  shows nothing of siblings, one had over 20 litters, and like 5 offspring screened, no parent data, no sibling data, NOTHING.  Yet you claim to have some great program for screening.  Sell bullshit to someone else.
