Crap! #9 just showed up! It's bloody raining puppies! 6 girls and 3 boys!

I wanted to do the nail polish thing, but I worried about the nasty scent putting their mother off...animals being so focused on scent. Yeah, and sorry about that blanket. I'm going to trade it in for a navy one soon!

I'm going to try to take a nap. I sure hope she is finished.....

OH my 9 goodness sakes that is why it took so long the egg timer said they were not finished cooking yet :) I am so glad all are doing well. Love the blanket try purple :)

I'm not too convinced of the reliability of ultrasounds, after the vet predicted 2 or 3 puppies for my friend's Shiloh bitch, and we got NINE!

Yeah Sunsilver, it's crazy some of the counts I hear. Somebody once told me to double whatever the vet said. In your friend's case, it was TRIPLE. Ah well, they do tell you that is how many they see, no guarantees. But it would be a lot easier to home them if you knew how many homes to line up! I thought I had 5, maybe 6, and they are all covered. Well, I guess I have 2 months to come up with just 3 more homes, so not so bad.

TEN??!!! wow! BIG congrats, no wonder she was getting so big eh? More pictures please when you get a chance, you are going to be VERY busy when those buggers start running around...

I knew that if there were only five babies in there, they were going to be too damn big to get out...Bella gained like 22 lbs! Great, trying to pass 2-3 lb puppies? BUMMER. Yeah I do NOT know what I'm going to do when all ten are running around. I think I will invest in scratch pants! I only have one eighteen-foot kennel....it will be carpeted in GSD babies.
