Bea, the more publicity this thing gets, the more people will hear about it and the more likely someone will recognize Teddy and know where he went. I am confused, though; why is he worth a fortune? Why would Cory have his papers? How much could he possibly be worth without papers? I assume you have them? Alert AKC, too, and make sure they're fully aware of this in case someone starts trying to register dogs...

Trixx - one report on the raid said they had returned some
dogs to their owners, but one was still in a shelter - did you
manage to check that dog out & make sure its not Teddy ?

Hundmutter, the dog that was taken to the shelter was a rottweiler, supposedly owned by cory.
I know that cory used hoobly extensively to advertise his services and dogs that he had for sale/consignments. I wonder if the prosecutor would subpoena all cory's account(s) info from hoobly to see if he had advertised a dog that matches Teddy in appearance and to find the possible buyers who contacted cory through hoobly.

Thanks Euroshep, I guess Bea won't need to investigate that
avenue then; article I read didn't specify breed (so helpful).
I think your idea about asking the prosecutor to sub poena
his a/cs for advertising is excellent, if they'll do it. Maybe
ALL his accounts ?

i heard that all 6 dogs were returned to there owners and the 7th dog the rott is cory dog. Teddy was not with cory at this time , he has been long gone for awhile.
all i can say that i heard as some of the dogs that i know were return in good shape not skinny at all, i heard about 2 dogs out of the 6. were just fine. i heard this from the owners.
i am not sure how much is true , but it will come out soon about this raid.
i will call this week and see what i can find out, have not idea if they have looked at the bones yet.
i never knew cory used hobbly. but i am sure they will be checking all his paper work to find the truth.
will tell you what i find out

Spent considerable time cleaning up this thread that is about a member, her missing dog, and the trainer she sent him to. This thread is NOT about dog fighting/ Sch connections, if members here wish to discuss that then another thread would be more appropriate. Hopefully this thread can now continue without personal attacks, and comments way off topic, any more disruption will result in further Admin action, thank you. mrdarcy (mod)
