I didn't watch the video but I did read some of the book, and he was talking about the last battle, here on earth, which is also biblical. The second coming of Christ.

I don't want to turn this thread into a hate thread, as Fell you already have one of those on here, so, I'm not going to comment further. Either believe some of what he said, or none of it. The choice is yours.

RS -- I believe that how a person was brought up is the most important. I also believe that many as children were never taught about God, Jesus, and about the Bible. Additionally, with God and prayer being removed from Schools, many have not been exposed to any religion. Some even think it is funny and something to mock. As you stated, you either believe or you don't.

I’m not picking on you, only the credibility of this story. The kid said he saw the battle in heaven. God, the angels and good people kicked them out, back to hell. Every detail he explains in the video about his experience is a cliché from the bible. Not to mention his father is the author and a pastor. Lot’s of people want to believe in miracles, maybe so much they’re willing to ignore the obvious.

RS, that sounds familiar. Sorry but you don't need a degree in Psychology to know that the kid is flat out lying. You know, kinda like how it was obvious to people that DDR-SH was full of shit just by skimming her posts. I guess it requires just a little bit of intelligence and experience to read people.

     It is my opinion that this boy had nothing more than a dream due to being anesthetized for a surgical procedure....From what I heard about his so called visions, they are not even consistent with biblical truth anyway.....

I believe in God. I also believe that the Bible was written a long time ago. if we take it literally...we should all be drinking blood and eating flesh. As we eat gods flesh in the form of bread, and drink his blood in the form of wine. Rituals. But if we follow that example...eat his body...drink his blood...hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Isn't that kinda supporting cannabilisim????? So we turn it into bread and wine. Do we still offer burnt offerings up to God. Lambs..sheep....our best calf.....I think the message there was to love God and not put anything before him that you feel is more important. Not to be so materialistic. I am not saying that the Bible is without meritt. I am saying it was written a long long time ago...and if taken literally today....the world would be in a mess...well it is in a mess...religious wars all over the place because we can't all come to terms who's God is the real God...or if there really is a God. But I would think after 3500 years of Bible.... some up dates are needed. Like the ole eye for and eye....and turn the other cheek. You go to jail for that now. The Bible is a social consious for man kind. To keep some kind of order...because man needed rules and man needed to get along with each other. If you read the Bible...God starts out a just and loving God and as the stories go on and on...he becomes more jealous....more demanding....More Man like...Not God like. .You will also notice that the boogie men in the bible are quite archaic...because they didn't know about bombs, and global warming, and aids etc. So they went with what they knew were scary. Beasts with 7 heads....Turning oceans into blood...etc. I think God is a loving God and a forgiving God. And I don't think he has to come back to earth in a storm of violence as he has been depicted. ONly time will tell.

Truth is the design....

The thing that I like about the bible, is that it is not at all what we
think it is... It sort of opens it self up....And by the way , the old testament is over 5000 years old.

You would have to talk to scholars about translations...but I beleave it has something special
for you alone....no matter who you are.

Truth,Love, and faith......are good things...the best that this life has to give.

Jesus came to bare witness to the truth...and so he did. So people could be happier
and live fuller lives.
