Let's hope for her sake you are correct.
And I also hope Geblaut chose to elaborate on Shelley's time spent living at Molly's without Shelley's foreknowledge or approval. Because there was no need to get into any of that for Shelley - or any surrogate - to defend against a few random accusations of irresponsible breeding of Shelley's bitch. One had nothing to do with the other.

The agreement was/is, that I keep the female - feed, house, care for, exercise, vet care, whelp the litter, care for the litter, raise the litter, advertose the litter, sell the litter, do EVERYTHING for the female and the litter - and Shelley pays 1/2 the vet bill, and 1/2 the stud fee (not my stud dog). Same deal as the two litters before. She gets the money for 1/2 the litter, I get the money for 1/2 the litter.
So, Shelley, after previously telling me that she would use her 1/2 the litter to pay me what she owes me for rent/board - decides instead to take the female with her to CA. Having already been convinced that I'll never see a cent of any of that that she promised to pay me (and contracts don't hold water when it's across the country, I am fully aware of that), I told her in that case if she would be taking the female and getting 100% of the litter, I would then have to charge her board for the female for the 4 months since her last litter was weaned - Why in the world would I be expected to house, care for, feed, exercise, and otherwise support a dog if I wasn't getting the agreed-upon 1/2 litter? That's not how agreements work. They are not "whatever is best for shelley "
So she had a choice - take the female, end the deal for co-owned litter, and pay for the female for her stay for 4 months. Or, leave her here and honor the previously made deal. Shelley chose the latter. It was up to her.
Again, I had already been "walked on" I had no desire to continue to be taken advantage of more. I am naive I guess, but I'm not stupid. My generosity and good nature had come to an end well before that point.
Feel free to share my "nasty" e-mails - they say exactly as above. I have nothing at all to hide or feel sorry for. I did everything in my power to help Shelley when she needed help, and all I got in return was a feeling of being a victim myself.

Raymond
All you need is Will Power nothing else and that comes from within yourself no one can put it there or take it away.
Faith you do not need, and I hope Shelley has that Will Power to see it through and i am sure she does as she is one tough lady

As you can see from Steves post I guess it is ok to tell Shelly what she does not need! Far be it from me to contridict our new God steve1 He evidently has all the answers ! So Shelly I stand corrected ! Now Steve can you tell us the winning horse at pimlico tommorrow? Maybe a good stock tip? Now for someone tosay such a thing and no rebukes from others on this board! But let raymond tell her to keep ahold of her faiith and oh my linos tigers and bears! Strage how somone can even get away with telling another you do not need faith! Well just another example of the state of man!

Like someone said, there are two sides to every story and the truth is somewhere in the middle.
$18 dollars a day for a dog seems outrageous to me, when I board a horse, who gets straw, hay, grain and supplements and turnout for 12 dollars a day in Canada where hay is $4.75 a bale.
