A broker bought this dog because he saw potential, and sent the dog to you.
You sold this dog without any or enough further training to a police department, and the "trainers" in this department believed it's fine to train a police dog in prey only.
The dog failed, and you,the seller, had to fix the problem...
Who is the winner?
The broker who saw the potential...
The others lost.

OK I simplify it for you so that you can understand it. i will use word sleeve as a substitute for equipment.
1/Sportism makes a le/pp dogto be sleeve happy. = BAD.
2/Sportism makes a dog be sleeve oriented (different from sleeve happy) = BAD.
3/You cannot fix sportism problems wit sportism.
4/If you do not use a sleeve in training until the dog is a civil dog will not be sleeve happy. = GOOD.
5/ if you have sport dog you can retrain it via parallel dog training. parallel dog training starts the sport dog anew = GOOD.
( if you do not what parallel dog training is look it up. I have talked about it here quite often.
6/ dog destined for PP/LE must have good genetis= NECESSARY that is given.
There is more but this is good for now.

Susie I can not imagine that anybody is really interested in your fake moralization. The dog was sold like green just about all dogs these days for LEs are green ( with sport basics) because the department had a trainer and wanted to save money and refused FREE handlers course. The dog was sold not because of his failed goals - that is a figment of your imagination. Dog was sold because that is what some people do they breed and train and sell dogs for LE. . The police dept trainer did not train the dog well and dog failed. I came to fix the dog for free at my great expense of putting my buse=iness on hold for 2 weeks, travel across the entire continent of USA for $0 compensation. I have done so because I believe in my dogs I love my customers and their relationship between us and enjoy what I am doing. Dog turned up great and everybody was happy except the bad guys and now Susie.

Every fool knows a IPO (or in your words "sportism trained") dog is no trained police dog,
BUT
the foundation training does not influence the later working ability of a genetically sound dog.
You are the one who claims "sportism" is "detrimental" for "real" dogs, not me.
You just gave a perfect example that your theory is not true.
In case you think your so called "sportism" is that detrimental, why do you sell those sportism trained dogs to police departments at all?
Don't you feel bad?

4/If you do not use a sleeve in training until the dog is a civil dog will not be sleeve happy. = GOOD.
I have said it before, my experience is running dogs in circles.
but even I know and understand that "civil" comes in the whelping box.
but for all those young and no experience, work hard, save up thousands of dollars, send to someone with good spiel. enjoy results. that's the way I did it and gained "experience"

Susi here you go again You can not comprehend what I am saying > NO-where have I said that I sell sportism trained dogs.
Susie - baby, "Sport" is not "sportism". After you figure this out then get back to me.
And if "the foundation training does not influence the later working ability of a genetically sound dog" as you clearly claim, then please explain why people like you are insisting on the dog having bite foundation. ? HMMMMM?

"sportism = detrimental"
"Under pressure a dog will show what it learned first"
and so on...
So now on a sudden a genetically sound dog is no problem any more -that's okay with me, because that's what I and several others said from page one of this thread.
It's more than nice we found a solution after x sites of "sportism is detrimental".
Now you don't need to have a bad feeling after selling green "sportism" trained dogs any more, because all of them for sure do have good genetics, and always had.
It's late over here, I have to go to work tomorrow morning- good night.
