Duke, hmmm all mal huh just coincidence Im sure lol. I was not inferring any came from you. Its just crazy that kind of blow it, I was just saying I would never send them anything after such a monumental mistake. Wouldnt be fair to the dog. On all dogs being line, its only important if you want to aim rather then close your eyes and spray with regards to replication of trait, also confusing as there are lines and line originators factually, so for confusion sake alone important.

which one would you trust to pass on wanted genetics/qualities, so really unimportant if Furo was originator or not

You just pointed out why breeding good dogs usually does not work out well statistically. Unless you understand the soup your left to trust trust, instead of stacking the deck. In your example if those ANY dogs had the same trait soup from the same line it could only make sense that stacking the deck will increase qualities passed. We will have to agree to disagree on that.
I was being sarcastic on the mals I think they are learning there lesson. I also hope the handler had painful stitches.

No not hersay, what I have posted I have found to be true in application through my dogs and the lines. Yes several generations. I think we are on the same page to some degree, I believe most all differences would fall into a micro/macro deal.

I've bred dogs where I've known the dogs all the way back to the 5th and sometimes even further back personally.
It is absolutely correct that you can put two good dogs together. Even if you know the dogs all the way back and you can still get a litter where something just doesn't click right.
This here is my male: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=2132656-athos-von-den-sturmfalken
I bred him myself. I know the Baerenfang line intimately all the way back to Caro Allerswald (which was our dog too). Genetics can be funny and you don't always get what you expect. I know for a fact that my father bred trough the alphabet three times to produce two breeding females he thought of worthy of keeping. They rigorously weeded out dogs. "Without fault and healthy" is his Motto.
Look at the breeders today. How many truly weed out dogs? Dog titles and is bred. No matter what the cost.

just saying it is not important if you are line breeding on dog/quality, if that dog is originator or not
also im saying if you have a grandson, or great grandson of such dog, you have no guarantee your pup will have, or pass on the genes of his "line originator" as you have more dogs on that pups pedigree that influence the "soup " as you wish to call it
