What I love the most about America is we can talk this way and not end up behind bars for years as political prisoners like the guy Bono recently honored in a concert.
Those who sincerely believe that Romney will be a better President and carry your banner as the defender of the of the middle class, vote for him. I'm still on the fence, haven't finished checking facts, won't make my decision based on emotion, half truths from the internet and/or political rhetoric.
I almost pulled the McCain trigger in 2004, changed my mind at the last minute. Some things he allowed to go on at his rallies offended me deeply and Palin was just not my idea of a qualified second in command even though she could see Russia from her front porch. Actually I'm an Independent who never makes up her mind until November 19th. My greatest hope is that we do not see anymore racial crap this tme as we did last. It showed our bare asses to the rest of the civilized world, that's not what we are all about.
Power to the people (BabyEagle should like that).
Great post. I vote like that too, I'm not at all about the party. Some folks on here seem to love Obama no matter what, and have him on some sort of pedestal.
I saw this funny ( well some here may not find it so funny :P) on FB today, which read:
It has some truth to it. We Canadians are much less trusting of any of our politicians.

Yeah, I want to see the KEITH LIST! I don't want to be the only list maker on this board. And I'm wondering, Keith, are their any little Keiths or Keithettes running around this world, are YOU a breeder?

America is in for a rude awaking soon.
Agreed fawndallas. I know several physicians very well and the administrator of a cancer center. Not one of them supports Obamacare. Also, many small business owners, including my brother-in-law, who have companies with less than 50 employees may not be able to stay in business because of Obamacare.

Wow, you people are so afraid of change it is sad. Companies with less than 50 employees won't be affected.
You folks would rather have war and the slaughter of innocents than insurance paid for by the insured, not free and not social medicine. Unreal. First proposed by tricky Dick Nixon and emplimented by Romney as governor. I would be more afraid of what Romney will do with American jobs than this health care bill.
I read a very enlightening article today that most Drs. are for this but the change is scary. Well really?
Did you also know that some conservatives are blaming Justice Roberts epilepsy for his decision? Nice people these conservatives.
So, all Drs, hospitals and clinics are going to close and all large and small businesses are closing and no one will hire any employees and on and on with the scare tactics. Wow, you people believe this trash?
Beetree, I have a list.
edited to change a poor choice of words.

Kieth, how did you see me get out of bed this morning? But you're twelve hours delayed on your comment. As far as my service to this great country, it wasn't all THAT illustrious. But during the Viet Nam conflict, military service was not appreciated the way it is now, even if people were being drafted at the time. Kind of creepy the way you're digging forty years into my history, Kieth. I take it either you are REALLY, REALLY interested in my history or you're just a creep.

GSD,
.
I'm just glad my DH starts his new job Monday and I won't be paying through the nose for our benefits soon enough. It's freaking expensive. But having kids, I wouldn't dare the risk of having no insurance.
I just hope Obamacare works, since now it is here. I am sure it will end up costing somebody more, because no matter what politicians end up doing, it always ends up costing more. I also worry that now there will be so many new ways to skim a little off the top, someone will figure it out.

You think for a minute I can afford this. BUT it is important so therefore I will find a way to pay it. I am not going to change anyones mind so like I said earlier I am out.

"Wow, you people are so afraid of change it is sad"
No personally I'm afraid that I wont have a job because the doctors I work for will have gone out of business.
"I read a very enlightening article today that most Drs. are for this but the change is scary"
Really then post the link because I dont know of one doctor in favor of this and I know MANY!
"So, all Drs, hospitals and clinics are going to close and all large and small businesses are closing and no one will hire any employees and on and on with the scare tactics. Wow, you people believe this trash?"
No I actually LIVE IT. I'd like to add that physicians are NOT run by the govt and are already opting out of health insurance plans now because they are tired of insurance companies running the show and telling the physicians how to treat patients (ie not covering necessary services and or paying for surgeries). Don't believe it? I personally know of an HMO where I live that because a patient could not get a prior auth for a gall bladder surgery, died waiting. Or a senior patient who couldnt get the required surgery she needed and ended up almost dying because the insurance refused to pay for her care. Trash you say? Say that to these and other patients who visit the Trauma center, have a trauma team save their lives only to have the insurance deny their treatment and they end up getting stuck with the bill. Trash? You dont even know the half of it German Shepherd Dog.
We may all have insurance but if physicians wont take it, then its not really going to matter.

That is what the physicians I know say. Many medical practices will not accept it. Read the excerpt below:
Unbeknownst to most people in or out of the healthcare arena, however, are the legal options available to physicians to either never enroll in Medicare or to voluntarily withdraw their participation in the government’s plan. The legal nuances of the doctor-Medicare relationship may shed light on options available to physicians to skirt inclusion in Obamacare if the law’s enforcers decide to use a heavy hand in mandating their participation.
