An amazing act of forgiveness. Not an easy thing to do, but holding a grudge hurts no one but yourself.

Then why is it so amazing?

So if holding a grudge is so hurtful to us, then why does Christianity continue to hold a grudge against anyone who is different? Why don't you all just forgive gays? If it isn't in your hands but in Gods hands then just let it go and let gays be what and who they are. Why can't most Christians let the Islamic thing go and let your God deal with those people?

I don't hold a grudge against my molester but I sure and the hell don't want to be around them and I sure as hell don't want my children or grandchildren around them.

I will never forgive this act, but it doesn't eat me up inside because I moved on and learned a valuable lession from it. But forgivness is never going to happen.

He did, because he allowed his only son born from a fairy tale virgin birth to die for our sins when all we have to do is ask for forgiveness and all is good. Just like Josh the molester, he sinned in the worst way possible and now is all good because he asked God for forgiveness, biggest pile of horse shit I have ever heard.

God has failed because he has hurt children by allowing them to starve, be molested and die horrible deaths in his name. You even posted earlier in this thread what God said about those who hurt children, you can't have it both ways. God is a failure as witnessed by his genocide of every living thing on earth in the great flood fairy tale, which by the way also included drowning of little children. Ever come close to drowning? I have and it isn't a pleasant experience.

I just keep shaking my head, where Josh got his counseling was shut down because gasp sexual abuse was taking place.

This takes the cake -

Teaching children the details of a sexual relationship on the basis that this will satisfy their curiosity is a violation of sex and education. Sexual curiosity cannot be satisfied with detailed information about it. Those addicted to pornography understand this fact all too well. So instead of giving those in need of counseling the—by their own admission—“right” information, the counselors of IBLP are trained to give those in need...no information. Instead, all that likely got instilled in Josh was a deep sense of self-loathing and some wildly inaccurate science. IBLP, on the other hand, got some free labor for whatever construction might have popped up as well as the cost of admittance.

Well, there you have it.  Straight from the horses mouth.
So, those of you that sit in judgment of Josh, that don't know Jesus, walk carefully, as Josh is forgiven his sins, by God, and his family, yours on the other hand...

Mine on the other hand do not add up to Josh's incest with his sisters who have not probably had much therapy and ONLY TIME will tell how it affects them throughout life. I sure hope all his family can deal with it if it turns out the molester molests his kids or grandkids. Because my guess from knowing what I know these types tend to repeat their behavior - that is why we make molesters get on the sexual predator lists.

 

Of course his sisters are going to say what they did - that is what they are programmed to say and they are feeling the lose of their little show and the money and fame it brought them.

No matter what - it is apparent to me from the little bit of the interview I watched that this family has more skeletons in their closets than we know about. Including Joshy the touchy one.

I saw something about their child raising philosophy where kids SFU and smile no matter what or get severe punishment.
