Two Moons

Define a god.

Shtal

by Shtal on 06 October 2013 - 14:10

This is irrelevant, I am not God.

Two Moons

by Two Moons on 06 October 2013 - 14:10

No one said you were.
But religion sets the standards and I asked what defines a god.

Shtal

Let's just get to the fundamental of this discussion then, so in order to discuss anything you would have to have knowledge? you would agree with that right?

Two Moons

by Two Moons on 06 October 2013 - 14:10

No.

To get to the fundamental you must first define what is a god.

Shtal

by Shtal on 06 October 2013 - 14:10

Before we get into defining what God is, you believe that you come from evolutionary world view, you believe that you evolved right?

Two Moons

LOL........
Shtal,
that was a trick question that you avoided rather poorly.
No we are not going to divert onto another line of discussion.

I told you before that I partially agree with a form of creation where life is concerned, I do not consider it devine.

You cannot define a god in any way other than the abstract and there is a rather obvious reason for this.

But you try anyway, i am curious to see your response.

Two Moons

You don't have to struggle with it, just tell me in your own words what you think makes a god.

Shtal

by Shtal on 06 October 2013 - 15:10

So you agree that in order to have this discussion you have to know things? And what I am going to tell you today is that the Bible says in order to know anything you would have to start with God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, says in Colossians 2, 2 and 3, all the kind of wisdom and knowledge is in Christ, so the fact that you know things actually exposes that you know God exist but you are suppressing the truth in unrighteousness says that in Romans, but rather then just claim that, I am going to evidence that, I am going to ask you a question can you be wrong about everything you claim to know?

Two Moons

by Two Moons on 06 October 2013 - 15:10

Nope.
And you have failed to answer the question.
This is what I know, I have told you what I know.

Now once more, what would you say defines a god?
