Unlike you i am not trying to bully or control , what you believe in or do not believe in as far as the correct or incorrect German Shepherd should look like..
Most of you believe the KC is wrong that again is your opinion ,it is a free country i happen to believe the KC is right my opinion free country free speech.
Just because i do not comform to what you would like dosen't mean i am being derogative to the breed.
This is a Noble, Breed and we all love it in our own right..

I am genuinely puzzled by some of the things you say. You are, for instance, very categorical that you will NEVER use a German bred dog. But it is the reason you give which puzzles me. You say that the reason is that you, ‘do not know enough about their bloodlines’. This is odd because German dogs are almost certainly the most documented German Shepherd Dogs on the planet.
I have 100% German dogs and I can trace them back to the beginning of the breed if I want to. More importantly I can check their hip and elbow scores, their breed survey results, their schutzhund titles etc going back as many generations as there have been such records. I can check their co-efficient of inbreeding for 7 or 15 or however many generations if I want. I can check their ZW scores and those of their ancestors etc. This is all readily available and in the public domain. German dogs are the most completely documented (and discussed) German Shepherds that exist. For instance, type in the name of almost any of them on this site and others and you will come up with a wealth of information about most of them. There is information about them everywhere.
Now how does this compare with the type of dog you breed and show? I mean if I try to check the details of your dog Ch Linsdown Georgia where can I see the 5 or 7 generation pedigree? She is not on this site I think and so far as I can see you only post the name of the Sire and the Dam on her own web site. Where can I see the hip and elbow scores for the ancestors, their breed survey results, their working qualifications etc. I am sure these things exist for your dog’s ancestors but how does one easily access them to verify? It is easily done with German bred dogs. How is it done with your type of dog?

That was the worst litter i ever bred because 7 out of the 9 puppies had very bad hips.
It was not how i reared my puppies you may not like my type of dogs but any one will tell you how i rear my puppies ,fresh meat not tripe, good puppy meal, goats milk, eggs, veg you name they get it.
So when this happened i decided no more .Until now because of what is going on in our breed.
Some members on here thought all i wanted was a pat on the back for starting to score that is not true but i have to start some where .
As for the German Dogs yes it is very good and i have done some research in to one or two dogs i saw and liked but i still have not found a dog i would use.
So untill i do i will not use a German Bred Dog .
And no Georgia is not on here nor details.

And yes with the tpye of German Shepherd i prefer it is very hard almost impossible to do any kind of checks all i can do is if i see a dog i like is ask for the pedigree and then look back and study itani i'm sure i would know most of the dogs in that pedigree.
That is why i like the American ways i can put in a dogs name i like up will come the pic and you can click on the dogs in the pedigree and see the type of animals i traced my AMCH pedigree back to 1907 and had pics of all the dogs which was great .
Thankyou for taking the time to talk i am really not the bitch i am made out to be.

With our beloved breed in the state it's in please not pointing the finger any where and the gap is very wide and not really sure if we can even close it a little but some how we have to try .We are all stubborn people and we all believe in what we have and why should'nt we.
