Situated some 80kms north of South Australia's main city of Adelaide, we live in Basset paradise. LYNSLUV consists of some 80acres of lightly wooded grasslands surrounded by cereal farms and very close to unpopulated pristine tidal beaches. All of this means that my Bassets get to romp, play and snuffle as nature intended. Day in, day out my Bassets enjoy doing what they were designed to do and with an abundance of small game to trail, they are never at a loss as to how to spend their time.

From a breeding perspective I take the line that perfection is almost good enough and spend my time working with these magnificent creatures, to ensure that each and every Basset baby that leaves me is as close to the ideal basset as I can get. Further as I realise that most of my Bassets will be placed as companion animals I go to extremes making my little ones into  the perfect canine companion. Accordingly I am very fussy where they end up and  when placing a puppy, my only concern is the welfare of that puppy.
