Gaia Icelandics was born out of our desire to help conserve and promote the Icelandic Sheepdog according to the principles and philosophy laid out by The Icelandic Sheepdog International Cooperation whose mission it is to faciliate and encourage cross-border cooperation to benefit and preserve the Icelandic Sheepdog.
As a small heritage breed farm located in Oklahoma (Gourmet Acres Icelandics and Heritage Breed Farm), we have found the Icleandic Sheepdog fits in well with our conservation breeding philosophy, as well as proving to be invaluable as everyday working dogs and full-time beloved companions.
We are members of the Icelandic Sheepdog Association of America and support the ISIC.
