Sabarka German Spitz is a small country kennel located in the footlands of the Snowy Mountains. We breed for quality by selecting good temperaments, excellent type and sound healthy animals - respecting the past whilst breeding to improve the future.
We originally commenced our kennels in 1995 having started in Samoyeds and still continue to own the beautiful Bentley who is now well and truly a veteran. In 2009 we decided that it was time to 'downsize' and commenced the long task of finding a breed that for me represented the Samoyed in a smaller form..... It was a very difficult decision. Finally I came across the German Spitz. Although not my 'smaller Samoyed' they were very similar in type and I was fascinated by the myriad of colours the German Spitz came in. They also had that wonderful fun loving nature that the Samoyed also possesses. This breed is a ball of fun and I am loving promoting and showing this wonderful breed - The German Spitz.
