I might be able to find the ad if you can give me a date and as much of the title as you can remember.

The original ad was actually for a Larus son for sale, but when he replied back he told me that male was sold, but he had a Remo son for sale. That was around 4/10

Okay, just so those of you who are nieve and trusting are aware. The vast majority of those that are scamming people on here and other sites are not dog people!!! They are scammers, crooks, thieves. They no more had a dog to sell you than a pink elephant. They don't have a kennel, nor do they probably own a dog of any breed. They'd a sold u a diamond ring or a car if they'd a thought you'd a bit on that. They used an assumed name, probably set up a phony email, address, etc. These people are professional crooks and very good at their craft. You can stop trying to ruin their name, because it's not their REAL name. Good chance they are part of a larger criminal enterprise, likely foreign, and may have scammed you from another country. If you sent it western union, through Wal-Mart etc you were definitely scammed. That is for people who know one another, period. Only safe way to pay anymore is via Pay Pal. Word to the wise, do your home work when buying a dog from a kennel you are not familiar with. Get references and triple check them. Sorry to ruin your day, but I don't care if J Edgar Hoover was your Grampa. Your money is gone!

No harm in posting the name they go by, however. Doesn't matter
about 'ruining' it/them, or not : it's a warning for readers to see what
name not to buy from, real or an alias. This guy seems to have been
using this one name for some time. Otherwise Slaux I think your
post is spot-on !
