Why does everyone assume the dogs that received "G" ratings were all working line or working line crosses? I know for a fact one of them is 100% conformation lines. I am very upset about some of those "G"s. More over when the dog clearly is not a G and ran very well. It was pure bull*&(T!

Julie, I agree with you! when the judge came over to the dogs and said, "these are working dogs, G" and dismissed them, there was a moment of WTF??? Makes you wonder if he even bothered to look at the pedigrees of the dogs. The dog you are speaking of looked fantastic in the ring! And was superbly handled! I was in awe of how the handler made it look so effortless.

I don't post much here or at other boards, I love my shepherds and I do have very nice ones if I say so myself. I also have some very nice German friends. They asked me about the SV conformation shows in the U.S.A., I was even thinking about joining all the German Shepherd clubs, but after reading this I don't think I can bring myself to join a group that allows these kind of things to take place at their shows. I know I would be ashamed to ask my German friends to join.I think I would rather show my German Shepherds at a AKC show and fight the American lines then to condone the likes of a Sieger show like this one.

SS and Molly you are a bunch of mentally deficient by birth people. You both are so envious. SS you there praises Alex first crawls on both knees when this Molly writes what she has seen well let me tell you about Eagel that dog should have been retired long time ago he is done but Molly drags him around and hopes he will make her a grade she never could she is a wanna be trainer hahaha. Alex done a great job looked super good and he will exhilarate to a much higer level both of your dogs never know where that is or you for that matter. Green of envy Molly????????

"Another good question is - why do you guys pay for handlers when many of you are physical enough to do it yourself?" Blitzen Ok, next one - why do so many pay for GERMAN handlers when there are very capable ones in the US......?????? I have heard the German handling fees can range well over $500 - even up to $1000 for one class. I have never used one, but that's the talk I hear from people who have hired them.

Maxin - when it is the time that a dog is gone to retire thats a decission of the owner ,for sure not yours this workingline dog that was 2 times at the end of the open class males at the Sieger show and last year he did not pass his Schh III (the out) is not a topdog , but a good dog , for sure in tracking, look the FH. and the owner does see it maybe a bit different as others, she is proud of him, but .... this combination does/did active dogsport , did U2 ?

Maxim, There is an old cliché “people were born with opinions and a__holes” your statement makes it apparent that you are either an a__hole, talking out of your _ss, or perhaps both. Molly’s post was obvious that she felt Alex could have been handled much better. C. Wilkins

Julie, or anyone - do you know which of the dogs that received "G" in the working males, were declared for Universal Seiger? molly

Some of the longest faces I have ever seen were those of the high-line dog owners when they finished behind my gray working dogs. Talk about a bad day... OK, Maxim, I'll bite. What hay truck did YOU fall off of on its way by the event field? Which dogs did YOU show over the weekend again please? Perhaps we should envy YOU!!??! Are you a star posting incognito? I know one thing for sure I'll put my MENSA scholarship and good breeding next to your crude manners and English incompetence any day. ...and just for the record, Eagle has it all over you in everything that counts, starting with class and certainly including written communication. Cuter, too, I'm betting. :)
