Problem is, she has to have a place to go to, once the fostering period is up.I have been frantically trying all rescues to see if they have room, but everyone is full. 4 GSD rescues have closed , down south, in the last month, which is why the others are bursting at the seams. I will continue to network and hope someone will answer.

Michael,
If I cannot get the shelter to give me an evaluation on her, might you possibly be able to get there to evaluate her? It would be much easier to place her with an evaluation, as far as temperament, getting along with other dogs, etc. Everyone I know needs the dog to get along with others. If she does, I may be able to get someone to take her.

I have a friend with a rescue who can take her if she is good with other dogs. She must be able to get along with other dogs as it is a foster situation and the foster has other dogs. She has worked with this shelter before, so she is going to email them to find out if she is good with other dogs. If someone can foster and hold for transport, and she is good with other dogs, we will have saved another life :)

Did they scan for microchip? I will call them tomorrow, we are only an hour away.

It says she is a surrender so no need to scan for a microchip. There is no way she is a pitbull cross. I live in northern Ontario so i can;t rescue her but she looks absolutely beautiful and such loving eyes. I know I am not helping....but.......

Why can't they scan for a microchip even if " surrendered"? Dogs are stolen all the time.

Hey Michael, if you do an eval and she has good drive, I can take her here and have her placed with a PD. I have the room since
Sarge was adopted.
Call me if you want

This gsd has been rated " adoptable gold" which means she has been evaluated exceptional temperament and considered to be very adoptable, etc.....
