Cruise has sired 22 AKC Champions. He was a very dependable and reliable sire.

Cruise was an incredible dog..Cruise was the main foundation stud dog for nearly 15 yrs for the "Van Gunn" line of AmStaffs..He sired 20 AKC Champions to date (2013) He passed EIGHT OFA health testings....more than any other AmStaff has in the history of the breed. He was Nationally ranked in Breed and All-Breed for several years. He was 4 mos away from his 16th birthday when he passed away. Cruise had a CD, and RN titles, and he was a certified TDI therapy dog...He had a CGC Title. Several of his progeny finished Ch. Titles, and Obedience and Rally Titles, and a few have also made AmStaff History by being the first to gain working titles in Drafting, and Pack Dog events. Cruise's progeny has also passed several OFA health tests, and many are living well into their teens. Cruise was one of the most dependable Stud dogs in this breed. His legacy will live on in his children, and the many grands and great great grands. He was a joy to live with, and will be missed by many. Cruise was the ultimate AmStaff in mind, body and spirit...!
