On threads like this I just can't understand why people who disagree don't stay away. Are they that bored that they seek out things that don't interest them to give them something to do? If you do not like the pics of Kelly's dogs or what Kelly is doing to help her dog then leave,Stay away and don't donate...No one is making you come here.

Thank you to all that are being supportive one way or another to Kelly and Brix. She appreciates it greatly..

Nobody needs to be picked on at a time of so much stress and pain. That photo above doesn't prove diddly squat. If you don't have something supportive to say, then don't say anything.

I gave her a hundred bucks. I am NOT tooting my own horn; I'm just saying, every single one of you can afford two dollars. I sure hope if I had a disaster, someone would help me--and once upon a time, someone gave me $300 towards a heartworm treatment. So PAY IT FORWARD. It sure the heck IS your responsibility...as a human being at the holiday season.

Csense, I don't mean to be mean towards you either though you are to me. If you had any sense in you at all, and read my website, you would have read that you NEED PERMISSION to copy ANY picture's off of my site, and without doing so, you can/could be in deep doo doo, seriously speaking!!! Also you and your buds are NOT good enough to be even speaking Layla's name, and/or typing it out. She is much better than that. Also my website is ALL over here, so anyone and everyone can go look at any picture's on my website without any help from you.  If Layla did in fact have bowing of her legs, which she DID NOT, then don't you think that would have passed on to anyone of her pups out of the 4 litter's that she did have?? MSU stated that it is not hereditary what Brix has. I am EXTREMELY honest with any one of my dog's, and I would not be breeding any of them if this was a hereditary problem, which again it is not. I think people like you are sooo bored in their own life and/or are the ones that don't wear the pants in their family that they have to knock someone down when their already down just to make themselves feel better/bigger about themselves. I welcome you, Mark3, and your bud to come over and see any 1 of my dog's. I've said over and over again (like beating a dead horse), that I can send any one picture's of my Layla through email, but no one wants that. Lets just knock down a picture of her instead. If someone on here is willing to let me email them picture's of my Layla girl, and post them on here I would appreciate it, since I'm having trouble with photobucket. Of course it would have to be someone I trust to do this as I don't need my girl photo shopped. It's a very sad shame that there is sooo much nastiness here and this is a GSD forum to help other's out, and learn about the GSD breed. If anyone is sick of the nastiness on here please email me. It's also sad that when someone needs help for a GSD puppy, that they get attacked, etc. If you can't help or don't want to then LEAVE and go pick on someone else, unless you just like knocking people down when their already down. Not only am I taking care of Brix right now, but I also have my 12 year old girl Cierra that isn't doing well either, and on top of all that I've had a 2 day migraine. Sooo Csense bring it on,   you and anyone else is more than welcome to come in person to look at my dog's. Not 1 of Layla's pups out of 4 litter's including the 3 I have here, have any kind of leg problem. Please throw your garbage else where.

Thank you to all that have spoke up for me, and contributed in 1 way or another for my boo bah. I just sent an email out to everyone about Brix that have helped.

I just got the eMail Kelly.  I'm glad the surgery went well;  I know that Brix still has a way to go until fully recovered....but you can breathe a little easier now.   Have a wonderful Christmas.

And incidentally...dogs who have limbs removed, which would be the easy way, generally have some pretty nasty arthritis in the surviving limbs later on. I would not want all my girl's front weight to be borne by one shoulder/elbow. It's not so bad when the missing limb is a rear one. The only dogs I've known who did well with a missing front leg were dogs who had the leg removed late in life.

Kelly M Shaw.      I don't think that anyone is trying to get at you or say you are a bad person, and nobody as I see it is accusing you of not being up front with anything so there is no need for you to be so rude , they are only saying what they as dog people have observed. This board is supposed to be for discussion, advice etc. I do agrree with Mark3 and Csense that looking at Layla's front legs there is a definite similarity though milder to the frontal Xrays of Brix.  If no one else can see this then they are looking through rose coloured specs. Please do not take this as a personal slant because it is not. We all know how hurtful any problems can be if our dogs are ailing so would not want to put more pressure on anyone like that. It's unfortunate that you cannot see what others can see.

Hi Kelly, I'm terribly sorry to hear about Brix's troubles. I know what it's like to have a puppy in trouble, my little girl had to have surgery, our bill was $3700.00....we were so lucky that it happened before my husband got laid off, & we were able to dip it out of one of his retirement accounts before they tanked. If it happened now, well, her outcome may not have been so great. There are so many folks having terrible, desperate times.....so many people who need help....how I wish I had a big bucket of money to help out all the very worthy people here who only want to save their dogs & their selves.....I wish I could fix everyones problems. My daughter has been teetering on the brink of foreclosure for so long now, seems like every time she thinks she's saved it, they change the terms. I've been buying dog food & paying her vet bills for now, to try to help out ( she has one of my pups).
But I'm not trying to add to your burden. I guess I'm trying to rationalize why some folks are being harsh. Brix is a great pup, such a big personality, I just love his face! I wish you all the best, I hope that he does well, whatever the treatment. Please give him a big hug from me. jackie harris

Kelly is not a scammer. She is a wonderful person and has been a good friend to me in the short time I have known her.
Times are tight for everyone right now and I am living paycheck to paycheck myself, but Kelly you have my email address, so if you send me your mailing address I will send you something. It won't be a lot, but I know that every dollar counts.
There are some wonderful people on here and I have to admit that awhile back I had a complete stranger on here offer to loan me a fairly large sum of money when I had a financial crisis. I didn't as, they just offered to help me.  Luckily I was able to clear it up by myself and didn't need the loan, but I was just amazed that there are people here who are so willing to help others in their times of need.
Unfortunately my heart is bigger than my wallet, but that person who offered to help me out really made me change the way I think about people in general.

Csense, let me explain to you what copyright infringement is and what slander. Copyright  infringement is using someone elses copyright protected work wether it be art or photography and using it without their permission for your own unlawful gain. Which leads to slander; purposely spreading falsehoods about someone's character or business practices that could cause damage to the success of their business and/or their character.

What you few  individuals are doing IS in fact tearing apart her dogs, which is no better than saying she is a bad person for breeding dogs that have defects. It's already been proven some can't read an xray, how in the world can you think you can see a fault in a dog ready to leap right off that tailgate. Rediculous; don't say you don't want to stir the pot. Everything in life comes full circle you'll be wise to remember. If your name stands for common sense, try to utilize that and edit the pic out of the post before someone turns you into a copywright lawyer.

Kelly, it really isn't even worth it to comment here anymore, some people just come here for drama, and it just stinks. We'll bump the thread for you, but obviously there is no sense in continuing on with this thread. By bumping the thread, hopefully some caring individuals will come forward to help if the'd like to. Hang in there, we have seen the generosity and kindness of so many, it's really a blessing :)

Also and again THANK YOU WHO HELPED out Brix and Kelly!! You're awesome.

Brix is a very wonderful puppy,  everyone that came in contact with him fell in love with him.  I am sure he is going to be a handfull while his leg heals :) so I hope all is going well on that end. Kiss him on the nose for me.

Always,
Cee
