I had horses and dogs, but they never seemed to run together.
It's been many years since my last horse.
They never showed much interest one for the other and very different in nature.
A completely different relationship for me to each.
I wish I had a way to scan my old 5 by 7's, its been that long ago.
I think a dog person and the horseman have much in common with two very different animals.
Wonderful pictures, great memories.

Count me in as another girl that grew up being "horse-crazy"!! My folks just couldn't understand the why of it all. I use to beg rides or grooming sessions from anyone I knew that had their own horse ;) Finally got my own horse for my 15th b-day. He was a spunky little Morgan cross that taught me more about what not to do, than what to do. It still amazes me that we both lived through some of the stuff we did LOL.......
I have had a few more horses along the way & have dabbled in everything from barrels to dressage. I have been doing the hunters/dressage stuff for quite awhile now.
I've also always done "dog" stuff since I was a kid. As much as it drives my SO nutty sometimes, I will never be without at least one horse & one dog in my life. That could get SCARY!!! LOL ;)
This is my current horse at one of his first shows(not me riding). He is a lovable, goofy TB/pony cross.
