They change over night right around four weeks.
Found my dogfood, picked up a new hanging ball, and its a beautiful day today.

I got so tickled today,
they started playing with a hanging ball and sock almost immediately after I had them hung up, and while I watched them the most outgoing of the litter, a female, sat back on her butt and let out a long clear howl.
They have growled and barked but this just blew me away.
I don't know if she was happy with the new toys or what, I've never heard one howl this young.
I thought it was kinda special.

OMG it is such a cutie!!Too bad you can't tape it(them howling) and post it....or can you? The litter mine sired when they were 6ish weeks and I took them out in the puppy pen in the yard a few would howl...then if I did it they would all join in.It was so cute with their little baby howls. I started to wonder if a Coyote got to my female.lol Here is a pic of the one howling when he was 4 mo.When a firetruck would go by the whole kennel would howl and they sounded like a pack of wolves.Looked like it too when they were all running together.

I can make my dogs howl with a Harmonica, or I can play my copy of Never Cry Wolf turned up loud.
I just wasn't expecting it out of this little fuzz ball just four weeks old.

They are so cute....adorable faces/expressions. It is amazing how quickly they change.
I luv it when my dog howls....like clockwork when he hears an ambulance or fire engine. I never heard him howl when he was very young...I bet that is really special to hear.

Ill be very proud of him same as you are now. I like very much the idea of the hanging ball, remind me of Tyson,s punshing ball.

MOONS,
My male was howling at 3 months and he does it rarely but the other night i left him out side and the he howled for 15 minutes straight till I checked him..WHY DO THEY HOWL?
