There is no point discussing anything with you RayRay. Even if I showed you document after document, provided interview after interview with people there, you would still not understand. You are incapable of sorting information. Believe what you wish. I could care less. No one said anything about the US not putting land mines down. No one disputes the US is a huge arms dealer, but you don't want to hear the facts from people who are there, involved in clearing the mines. If you think there are not other large arms dealers who are not US based, you are crazy.
MORE THAN HALF of the mines are Russian and were laid by the Russian military during 10 years of conflict there. I already mentioned some of the other countries from where land mines used in that country originated. If you think the US is the only country that has put land mines down in the world, you are nuts. But then, I already know that, as do most of the people here. TO BE CLEAR, I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE USE OF LAND MINES, as that would likely be the next claim you make. NOR DO I LIKE TO THINK OF ANY PERSON, OR ANIMAL BEING KILLED OR MAIMED BY SUCH A DEVICE.
IT IS NOT WHO LAID THEM that is at issue. In this thread, which you had to interject your comments into though you know nothing about the subject matter, even second hand RELIABLE SOURCES, it is the fact that they kill and maim indiscriminately. The thread is also, in case your few memory cells have already self-destructed, about the DOGS BEING USED TO CLEAR THE MINES.
GO TAKE YOUR MEDS NOW so you don't have a meltdown again so close to your hateful holiday. BELIEVE WHATEVER YOU LIKE.

About that Ottawa Treaty, I'm assuming that's what your refering to in the original post. Hodie, is it ? It's not really about the dogs, it's about pushing agenda. That is clear.
This whole Treaty issue is rank. Princess Diana was a mighty brave lady to have spoken the truth about this Treaty, and to the right heads of Nations, pun intended. Amazing isn't it ? History that is ? Bless her soul.

Yes the land mine issue was in the forefront of the media. Just right now one story on cnn@ 12:57 central about the sniffers! Makes one wonder who really killed Dianna! The story on cnn is running now so try to catch it!
