Excuse me , Hexe:
BUt I would hope you don't try tearing down everyones posts on Flea remedies..The person that has no brain nor common sense would , of course, not need to have what I said explained. I had no idea , that I had to list all the natural things on this database, to people , who own dogs, and would know what is poison and what is harmful in the woods or in GOD's own nature.
My goodness, what do you take all of us for?? Idiots, as is the word some of the Elite on here use.
No one with COMMON SENSE would go anywhere and just start feeding what is natural without some knowledge.
Chemicals are a whole lot different than something grown and available/ Dogs roam the world before man domesticated them and a dog knows what to sniff out and eat..WHY cannot man use the same knowledge...?? He was meant to see after a domesticated dog or cat or horse.
That is why it is known fact: DOGS< HORSES: DO not reason
We do the reasoning for them. All of these products discussed here are DANGEROUS to administer to the skin of your dog or cat. I have a horse. I do not put things of chemical made in a Labratory on him..MY responsibility to search for BETTER means to ward off bugs...
Any gardner will tell you PLANT marigolds in the garden . they ward off bugs.
THERE are many BETTER ways to get rid of fleas or ticks....DE is mentioned again and it is one of the best. MANY cattle people use it in the feed bins for the food to not get full of bugs . I suggest using the FOOD GRADE.
Now I guess I better say: DO NOT GO TO THE WOODS AND JUST PICK ANYTHING . FIND A BOOK and READ FIRST.
But again, most young people cannot even find their way into or out of the woods. GO ask Grandpa and Grandma ma!
This is the reason I left before Anytime you make a statement on here, someone deems to tear you or it apart piece by piece. There are probably 10 ways to skin a hog, but I choose only two. I post to people with supposidly brains and common sense , maybe.
not my opinion a fact

Yesterday on a radio station Kbpp 600 am., a vet was interviewed about this subject. The statement was over 600 dogs have died after administering Flea Drops on it or being in contact with another animal with it on its body., since 2008, that they KNOW about.
That is enough for me to believe some few testimonies.
