Congrats on the new puppy, he looks super. I looked at the pedigree and can see why you chose him! Very impressive. That's awesome.

Thanks for all of your comments and well wishes, everyone! I had almost forgotten how fun this could be! I had a couple of sausage links left over from breakfast this morning and thought waste not, want not; might as well cut them up and lay our first puppy track. It was pretty funny to watch but he did seem to be catching on about half way through. Later, I caught him going backwards through the track all of the way to the scent pad to see if he had missed anything. LOL! Of course, he needs no encouragement with the buggy whip; he turns into a little maniac as soon as he catches sight of it! I'll have him barking for it in no time!
