Melba, did you get a 2nd set of xrays done?
It almost looks like the first picture is 2 xrays overlapping.I was trying to figure out where his tail went--but now it looks like they folded it up between his legs.
And congrats on the OFA good!

The Xray was a regular film xray and the reason it looks the way it does is because I taped it to my front door, which overlooks a pool and fields. It wasn't folded, just the scenery in the background.
I had the xray looked at again by my DVM and another DVM and the concensus was everything inside looks normal, spine included. I'm going to assume that because I edited the xray for more contrast and the background "noise", it looks as if something is amiss.
OFA did not comment on his spine, either, which they have in the past with one of my other dogs.
I'll probably have some more taken in time, but there is no lameness. He is an extreme athlete and loves going over the wall, bitework and detection.
Thank You all very much. The wait was excruciating!

at 9 months Sita was mild to moderate........
after looking at this, we did our best to give her plenty of low stress exersise - lots of walks and swimming.
her hips have actually improved and at 24 moths look like this.....she just recieved a "good" with the OFA...
Don't give up....bones are alive and they change.
