Athenas Mom
some folk on here do not rate Modesto is seems, But that is where the people live where Shelley is heading for those Guys think it okay there so nothing wrong in that,
Personally if i had my choice of where i live in Belgium now i would not have come to live in this part of the country, for the reason i moved here it is not the best of places geographically wise, But the price of property decides where one can move to and this was the cheaper option if i was to move here to follow a dream
So long as the Lady is happy then that is Home

I am betting Sheley is in Modesto in time for Sunday brunch tomorrow. Flagstaff is under 700 miles from Modesto, so a 10+ hour drive, not counting exercise for 6 dogs. I predict just south of LA by nightfall.

Hey, that Modesto training club is HELLA cool, so don't sneer!!!!!!!

Except, dear Raymond, she spells her name "Shelley." And, yes, from time to time, I make a typo, especially when typing on my cell. Opposable thumbs are a great evolutionary step, but not so agile for typing purposes. :-)

Dear I just hope you are not typing while driving! do not fret I was just pokin some fun and glad to see you can take some of what you give! It restores my faith in humans! Wait should I ask Steve 1 if I can exercise faith?LOLLOLOLOLOLLOOOOOOOOOOolol

No, Raymond. I NEVER type or text while driving and only talk on the cell hands-free. I consider doing otherwise to be irresponsible and extremely dangerous. I have seen far too many accidents, or near accidents, involving some idiot with a cell in his/her hand(s) while driving.

Mystere, they say texting while driving is more dangerous than drunk driving!   And there is this: A good friend of mine was devastated when they hit a pedestrian in Cooperstown, NY (Baseball Hall of Fame), when the person just walked right into traffic and into their car because they were textig.  Even though it wasn't their fault, the event was emotionally harrowing for them.

I get you, Beetree! I have also seen those idiot pedestrians on cells walking and talking in their own little worlds. Two years ago, I actually witnessed one, a "plugged in "grown man of 40 or so, walk out aruund a bus and right into traffic. He was hit by a driver who really had NO WAY of knowing he was there (because of the bus) and he had not even looked around the bus first. This was on a major 4-lane street. He died of his injuries, The driver was devastated, the criminal and civil litigation was going for a year. ...and I had the whole thing playing over and over in my mind night and day for months. Every time I got to the point of not thinking about it several times a day...another deposition. ¶ So, yes, I completely understand that your friend was devastated. I try to avoid driving in the right lane on streets to this day, so no pedestrian yakking on a cell, or plugged into an IPod, can just walk out in front of me.

Raymond
You only can have faith in yourself so it comes from within that person, it does not come from anywhere else, so if you do not already have it in you to do something no being or so called God can put it there, What you are you are born with it is all you get, you can nurture what you were given or you can destroy it but it still will not change you for it is the person who rules His or Her own destiny not any God, and not anyone will convince me otherwise

Mystere
is it law not to phone in a car if you have to use your hands to use the phone in the USA, for it is over here in Europe not that it stops people doing it
