RS,
Have you ever heard that the enzymes are deactivated by heat, and
can in some cases be reactivated by Vitamin C?

No, I hadn't JL. I was told to keep them and the probiotics refrigerated. This enzyme paste also has vit C added, maybe that is why.

Jon really ?? Don't know about that.
Here is my thought about raw feeding . With raw feeding you are only taking select peices of meat, and the meat you are buying is not much diffrent from what super premium foods would be using. If your feeding only select peices and not the abundance of organ and bone etc , then is it really a compleate diet ? I am sure its fine either way as I hear about dogs living 13-15 years just fine on Pedigree, so people who feed raw must have heard that it makes the dogs live longer - right ?
I would think that by feeding raw you are also getting all that retained water that has really good value , where as in a cooked food most of that water is distroyed.
About supplements. We live in an artificualy manufactured world anymore, nothing is natural. I think we have to supplement to some extent ( rather its us using better foods or actualy buying supplements).
Maggie , It depends on the supplement your giving because some are better than others. The Fast Track has some kind of fiber in it that helps the bacteria and yeast in the intestinal track, which helps it grow faster . I have only had the 5 lb bucket less than a month so i am still working with it and seeing what results I will get. I am just happy that I have not had to give my Dachshund puppies anything other than there normal deworming ( PP) and they have perfect poos agian ( considering they sleep in my bedroom).

Kim,
I had a neighbor who raised Those little Yorke's,
they would always brake out of their kennel and come over to play
with my dogs. One day I ask the owner he came to get the Yorke's,
I said did you know some people get $1800 for those little dogs?
And he turned and said we get $2400 for ours. I said you are shitting me?
He said I shit you not. But they have allot of medical cost and up keep.
My dogs do well on Pro Plan and hamburger with butcher scraps once in
a while. They so so healthy there should be a law against it.
Spell check corrected Shitting I think that is funny.

No I never had any problems with the Nzymes. Try it again, it may have been coincedentally something else bothering your dog, a bug, changed foods, or even if you added an egg to your dogs food.
